slimninj4 Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Anyone know if there is still 10030 UCS still for sale anywhere? I been looking for it. Quote
Matteo Kenobi Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 I went to TRU on saturday and there was nothing except about a 100 Twilights, V-19s, and Magna fighters, there is some sale going on and its not bad, but no sign from anything '09 at my local stores. I'll probably wait until after christmas anyway, there may be some gift cards coming my way Quote
Oky Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 I know people are finding 2009 sets everywhere, but is anyone having trouble finding 2008 sets? My target only has the 19V and Magna droid starfighter. Nope. I don't know about target, but both my local TRU and Lego Store are quite stocked up on all of them. Quote
KimT Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Anyone know if there is still 10030 UCS still for sale anywhere? I been looking for it. Erhm.. That depends on where you are from. So hard to answer that question when we don't know that. Perhaps filling out the info in your controls might prove useful. Quote
Tacitus Posted December 16, 2008 Posted December 16, 2008 I was at a TRU in WI today. They had the new battle packs ($9.99), the Republic shuttle ($59.99), and the droid tank thing with Yoda (don't recall the price, though). Quote

That's nice to know, considering I'm living in Wisconsin, too. Hopefully I'll snag those BPs after the holidays. Quote
ROCON Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Hi I have a question about the Lego star wars magnets. I plan on buying next years magnets if the minifigures in the set are actual minifigures that you can play around with. I'm asking this question because I've never bought a magnet set before. Quote

I plan on buying next years magnets if the minifigures in the set are actual minifigures that you can play around with. I'm asking this question because I've never bought a magnet set before. Magnet figs are just exactly like Lego figs, except you can take them apart, and they have magnets in their legs and chest. But they work completely like normal figs. Posable arms and legs and head. If you wanna get them, I suggest you do. Quote

Yes, they are normal minifgs, except that the hip is glued to the torso. As far as I know, the only exception is Boba Fett, who has a magnet glued between his jetpack and torso, and can therefore not take his helmet off. But who would want to take a Boba Fett apart anyway. Quote
TheBrickDaddy Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Yesterday, I tried two TLC stores (visiting one and calling another), and neither had the Republic Fighter Tank (#7679). With the rumors that it might be a Target exclusive, I tried a local Target, but they hadn't even unpacked the palette with the Clone Wars merchandise yet.Bottom line: has anyone in the US (or Europe for that matter) found the Fighter Tank at retail? If so, where did you find it? badger It's a Target exclusive. I've been looking for it everywhere, and it's no longer available at LegoShop.com, so you'd be lucky to find it at list price. Quote

Us americans had to wait until October, only to have it sold out 2 months later. Quote
Oky Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Actually, I saw the fighter tank in my local Target just this week. I don't think they had it in the Lego Store, though. Quote
Erdbeereis Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 I believe my Target had one or two Fighter Tanks left last time I was there, but they are going very quickly. Quote
KimT Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Strange. A lot of regular stores have had the Fighter tank here. I actually got an extra 50% off... The supermarket had a "facelift" and to celebrate they had a 50% offer on all toys. Plus one fighter tank for me. - So it's not special here in Denmark - at least not to my knowledge. The Limited sets (Hoth, HSD, Twilight) are still available in large quantities in TRU and the sister toy-chain "BR". So no problems there either. Hoth and HSD are actually on sale right now. Not enough for anyone outside DK to want them though. Now where's that new wave of Star Wars sets?! Quote
natelite Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 I'm a little dissapointed about that. Us americans had to wait until October, only to have it sold out 2 months later. ah, thanks for the info. going to get more of them tanks while still available in aussie!!! Quote

Yeah, it seems like alot of Targets still have 'em. But I think it dissapeared from the Target website. And I bet my local Target is still loaded with these, but my mom refuses to take me because I might get it for Christmas or something. ah, thanks for the info. going to get more of them tanks while still available in aussie!!! Why, God, WHY?!?! Edited December 20, 2008 by daxflame680 Quote
Darth Legolas Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 (edited) I got my Republic Fighter Tank at Target, months ago! I think it was October! Still haven't opened it yet though! Edited December 20, 2008 by Darth Legolas Quote
ROCON Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Is it confirmed that Mon Calamari and Home One won already? Quote
Darth Legolas Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Is it confirmed that Mon Calamari and Home One won already? They're the same thing, and yes. Quote
Corvus Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 I just went to my local Target (Bend, Oregon, USA) and asked if they had the new sets in. The first two employees I asked had no clue about anything () but the third guy was suprisingly savvy about our favorite toy. He said that they hadn't come in yet, or if they had, were stored somewhere secret that he couldn't get at. Quote
ROCON Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Does anyone think or know if Kit Fisto is going to come out in the new corparate alliance tank droid set (7748)? There a was a rumor about him a few months ago on wikipedia. I really need a Kit Fisto. Quote
Erdbeereis Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 So, I walked into Target today, and guess what I saw, Darth Vader's TIE! Needless to say I went ahead and bought it. That was the only 09 set I saw, but they did have the largest 2 pirate sets, the largest Power Miner and $10 Power Miner set, and the City Minifigure collection and Crawler Crane. I saw price markers for a few other 09 sets, but none were actually on the shelf. Plenty of empty space just waiting for '09! Quote
rcpeck Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 I spotted a number of 09 sets in a Wal Mart in Kentucky yesterday. Yay for not having to pay the TRU premium on the battle packs. Quote
Millacol88 Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 Well, all the 2009 SW sets have appeared on the canadian TRU website (finally). I`ll probably pick up Vader`s TIE and the clone battle pack, but most likely nothing else. I don`t have a TRU near me, so I can only hope one of my other local stores will have them. Quote
