legopiotre Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 They re finally available at legoshop, at least in France. We have all of them, including Ahsoka starfighter and Dooku solar sailor spaceship But the prices are really high Quote
ROCON Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 Okay I'm getting desperate now but does anyone know if Kit Fisto is going to appear next year? Quote
Darth Legolas Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 Okay I'm getting desperate now but does anyone know if Kit Fisto is going to appear next year? No. Nobody knows at all. How would we? Quote
ROCON Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 No. Nobody knows at all. How would we? In the 2009 thread there was a post that was unsure of what minifigs they saw in the 7748 snail tank. Quote
Tijn Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 The sandcrawler is 118 euro on S@H now, 50 euro's off :-) just (finally) ordered mine today ... Quote
Derek Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 (edited) We all know that Lego isn't cheap no matter where you go. Especially Star Wars. But $40 for Ahsoka's starfighter is just rediculous. Its a very nice set, but it would have worked perfectly at $30, even $25. Perhaps if we petitioned to TLC, or even boycotted it, they would slash the price, like they did with Star Justice and Space Skulls Factory sets. I know its a stretch, but I can see this maybe happening. I really don't want to get yelled at by people, telling me to stop whining. I'm not. Its just money's tight now, and we all want nice Lego, without having to fork out an arm and a leg for it. Please give your thoughts and ideas, and maybe we can make a difference and get make a very nice set more affordable for everyone. Not even necessarily for AFOL's, but even the kids and parents who can't get their voice heard about Lego. Thanks for reading. -darthperson Edited December 26, 2008 by darthperson Quote
Millacol88 Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 I agree with everything you've said. its basically the same as Anakins JSF, released earlier this year, but with a vulture droid added. I'm in canada, so I'll work with canadian dollars here. Anakin's JSF was 27$. Ahsoka's is 55. So your telling me that vulture doubles the price of the set?! thats absolutely ridiculous! Quote
General Magma Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 True. It is even smaller than the Naboo Fighter, but the Naboo N-1 Starfighter came with a Vulture Droid and was only like $30, what's going on with those prices..it looks like a great set but the price is just too high. Quote
gravysam Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 does anyone know how may £'s its gunna cost? Quote
Razzer Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 does anyone know how may £'s its gunna cost? It's on shop @ home now for 29 pounds 35p which is absolutely ridiculous if you think that Anakins fighter is 19 pounds 55p. I know that Ashoka and the vulture droid up the price a bit but this is slightly strange... Quote

Yes, the prices for every country are completely out of wack, but I think we'll be seeing this more and more, especially in the star wars line. Quote
Legoman Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 It's $100 in NZ!?!?!?!? Thats Nuts. Good thing i don't like CW then... Quote
legopiotre Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 In France, it is 50 € !!, so for the same price, you can have the AAT with 402 pieces, a new Yoda, a Clone trooper, three new superBattle Droid, two Battle Droid and an awesome tnk with great pieces or ........ The Ahska fighter with a vulture droid wich design was already made before, two buzz droids already designed, Ahsoka (we already get in two sets) and a new astrodroid. Sure the Fighter is awesome, but we already had Obiwan's one in 2002 for 20€, then Anakin 's one last year for 30 €, which was already very expensive. I don't know what is Lego playing at with such bad prices. the problem is that because I'm such a LEGO Star Wars fan that I surely get it, but I will wait and see if I can not get it cheaper. It may be worth 40 € if we consider Anakin's fighter price is fair (which is not) but not 50 € Quote
Darth Legolas Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 It's so true! This set is wickedly overpriced! But TLG has some marketing trick. They probably know they'll get a lot of buys for this set, considering it;'s got a shiny new vulture droid, two Buzz Droids, the cheapest (but not too cheap!) set with Ahsoka, and the official standard Delta 7-B, making it three sets in one. It's too late for me, since I already ordered it, and I hate to complain, but...bad call TLG! Quote
TheBrickHitHouse Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 I want the CIS Vulture droid but I really dont need another Asohka and I have Jedi Starfighters all over the place, yellow ones, red ones, blue ones - i'm not going for some kind of gay rainbow squadron! I do want that new droid - I'll just get one off bricklink and save buying the set, minifigs are expensive but it will still cost less than buying the set itself Quote
TheBrickHitHouse Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 any rumours as to why the Republic Shuttle aint on the UK shop@home? any ideas when this situation is likely to change? Quote
posades Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 Picked up a Vader's Tie Fighter from my local toy store (last one!), but no Chrome Vader...oh well. Quote
CommanderCody77 Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 The Solar Sailor is avaliable on the UK lego homepage, it shows a really good picture of the speeder Count Dooku and the Pilot Droid Quote

Millacol88 Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 Sorry I accidently double posted Or perhaps the news was so riveting you had to post it twice. This belongs in the set availability thread thats pinned. Plus its already been posted. Quote
KimT Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 How about posting this in the right topic? Quote
KimT Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 Merged 2 topics on pricing and availability of "7751 Ahsoka's Starfighter & Vulture Droid" into this topic. Quote
Matteo Kenobi Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 I have a question for all of you, regarding the availability of 2009 sets...err everywhere. I went looking today, not very thoroughly but I went to Target and ToysRus (In the US, by the way) and there shelves were cleared, at Target there was nothing, however I did spot some Power Miners sets, that gave me a little hope. I went to ToysRus, saw more power miners sets but I did see the price tags for the AAT, RAS, both the battle packs, Ahsoka's starfighter, and Vaders Tie. So that means they were once there or will be there soon. However when I just checked the website they are all "out of stock" online. So I am asking you, are there any in your stores? Or is availability scarce everywhere? Anyway thanks! Quote
