ADHO15 Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Luckly for me all the new sets are here, in NZ and im ripping into my savings just to buy em!All teh new ones are out in NZ. They are on Shop@Home here in the UK too, but he's describing a new Obi-Wan set that 'splits in two'. Whether he means the Pirate Tank, I don't know. Quote
mutley777 Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 apologies if I've missed this somewhere, but I did search in what I thought were relevant threads... I was in John Lewis on saturday, and saw a CW Obi Wan Kenobi's ship "it splits into two!" which I hadn't seen mentioned before, and certainly can't see on the S@H site.... just wondered if I've missed something obvious... also, have the CW boxes changed in the past couple of weeks - none of them seem to say what minifigs are in them anymore...... Hmmm... That sounds like this to me. Quote

Actually, I sounds like this, which is not LEGO at all: Now the question is: did you see the hyperdrive ring, this set (mistaking it for a LEGO set), or a completely new, exclusive, never-before-seen set like this one? Trust me, making a mistake is much better than just making up a set just to get attention (unless it's on april 1st, of course ). Quote
Drock Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Sweet, the new sets are on lego.com US. Y-Wing and Endor are available now; the rest are listed as backordered. Quote
SWMAN Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 It's funny. I have been waiting for the new sets to be available on S@H US, but now that they are I don't really want any of them. Quote

Mraz Skintas Posted June 26, 2009 Posted June 26, 2009 Wow, LEGO prices really seemed to have skyrocketed over the last few years. I mean really, 25 USD for just over 150 pieces? Yeah I realize that there are new molds, but sheesh. At least the two that I want will ship just a few days before my birthday, so I'm happy with that. BUt why is LEGO waiting so late after they put them up to ship them? Quote
CommanderFox Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 (edited) Hey def i think thats a good price for the 7778. In NZ its $69, so with that Chromie Vader in it i reckon its a bargain (sorry if im price ranting and abit off-topic, im not meaning to be) CommanderFox Edited June 27, 2009 by CommanderFox Quote
RileyC Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 So does it have a chrome darth vader inside?? If that's so then I was gravely mistaken about this set Quote
ILikePi Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 (edited) So does it have a chrome darth vader inside?? If that's so then I was gravely mistaken about this set No, a chrome Vader was attached to the box as a special release promotion for Japan at a fair. In NZ its $69 $69 NZD or $69 USD? $69 NZD is equivalent to $45 USD. def's price is $75 USD. EDIT: I read a comment made by legoman in a different thread, and he said that it costs $70 NZD. So I'm guessing the price you said was in NZD... Edited June 27, 2009 by ILikePi Quote

Matteo Kenobi Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Aplogies if someone has already asked this, but I just got my brickmaster today and saw the Home One advertised, so when can we expect to see it in stores for the US? As it wasn't realeased recently with the rest of the new wave Quote
KimT Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 From what I've heard this set will go 'live' in August. But it is certainly strange that CopMike has gotten his hands on one during BrickWorld. Which was good for us, since it gave us a review of it Quote

Which was good for us, since it gave us a review of it Great, thanks for the info KimT, I was curious about that, and since we have receive so much coverage of the set, I was wondering if it was still set for the fall like it was when the set was still being voted upon! Mraz Skintas Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Not sure how believable this is, but Wookieepedia says that the Pirate Tank will be released in the IS on August 1. Quote
Commander Flash Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 All sets (except Seperatist Shuttle) are avaliable on U.S. S@H Quote
Dfenz Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 (edited) I've just noticed that the Pirate Tank and Home One sets are up on LS@H Europe but are listed as not available yet. Looks like the sets might be about to be released? David PS I forgot to add that the mid-scale Millenium Falcon is showing up as available for €29.99. Edited June 29, 2009 by Dfenz Quote
Matteo Kenobi Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Has anyone in the US seen the new wave actually in stores, like Target or Toys R Us, I currently haven't seen the new wave on the websites, but I'm wondering if they're in stores. So, has anyone seen them? Quote

So, has anyone seen them? I went too two different targets today with no luck. Not only in star wars, but no new sets at all. My local TRU had all new sets excluding indy and SW a week or two ago, so they might have the rest in soon. Quote

So, has anyone seen them? Toys R Us pays Lego to receive the sets first, so they will be the first store (other than S@H and Lego Stores) to receive them. As of yet, I haven't heard even one report of the new Star Wars or Indy sets being found in any stores besides S@H though. Quote
Navy Trooper Fenson Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 Magnetset Force Unleashed is also available in S@H Europe, but 12,50€ instead of 9,99€. I better buy another TPM Magnetset before it gets the price increase, too. Chrome Stormies still not available in europe S@H. I begin to ask myself why the Stores already have the figs and the S@H is still too lazy to offer it... Quote
ADHO15 Posted June 30, 2009 Posted June 30, 2009 The remaining new sets are available now on Shop@Home UK. 7753 Pirate Tank: £31.29 7754 Home One Mon Calamari Star Cruiser: £88.09 7778 Mid-scale Millenium Falcon: 29.35 Quote
