Star Wars sets anyone?

A few posts up he saud his local Toys R Us had them in stock.

Then I posted that I checked mine and there was nothing, then he posted pics, then someone said they checked at Toys R US and the employee said they should be on Firdays truck, so we are all rushing to Toys R Us on Saturday.

I think I summed it up pretty well.

Thank you for the nice pics.

The battle packs looks very good. Strange they gave a named person in the battlepacks. When I looked at one of the Rebels it looked like it was a female face (a bit fuller lips). It would be nice to get more fleshie Female faces in this way.

The Freeco speeder looks also good.

The new set with Swamp speeder looks also nice and as it has Luminara or Bariss in it, I will certenly want to pick it up.

Also a better picture of luke's landspeeder with Luke, Obi-Wan, R2D2, C3PO, Sandtrooper and floating droid.

I went to toys r us this morning, and the new sets were all on the shelf just like I was told. I picked up both battle packs, the arc, tie defender, freeco speeder, and the 2 smallest toy story sets. I noticed they had ben 10 and atlantis sets I had never seen before.

I was at toysrus today looking for christmas presents when in the lego section I found almost all of the 2010 star wars sets along with the atlantis sets!

unfortanatly i was not able to get any cause I am broke right now

I think it's safe to say that in the next few days we will see all Atlantis, SW, Ben 10 and Toy story sets at TRU- I picked up all the SW and Atlantis, of course didnt bother with the Ben 10. The prices are a little high though.

I was just in Target And Wal-Mart yesterday in the US and I still didn't see any.

I did however go to Toys R Us and they had it all, both battlepacks, the Freeco speeder, ad the really overpriced tie Defender

As well as new Atlantis sets to.

I have a question, why would all these new sets be available at sotres but not at Shop @ Home???

Toys R Us in general is F'n expensive. If you have to have it you will typically pay 10-15% more than you would at Target, Wal-Mart and of couse the Lego store. Sometimes the sets are equal in price to those on the Lego site, so buyer be aware. Also they increase and decrease their prices. These adjustments are frustrating. As an example the Venator was orignally at 109.95 USD, and then it shot up to 129.95. Uhhhhh no thanks. Target had it recently for 107.95. High but a little more tolerable. They do drop prices which is nice, and they have the Buy two get one free. But when you have to have it now its hard to be patient.

Thats the same here in Toysrus canada. Prices shifts up and down all the time. They are usually above msrp and sometimes is a little cheaper. But some sets are priced at msrp or only overpriced by $1-2.

Also notice they tend to jack up the prices of their top sellers or exclusives all the time. Then they put a sale with like 20% off which actually turns out to be only 10% off retail. Really hate it when they get an exclusive lego set as they rarely discounted them.

FOr those who want to pay retail, I have seen the battlepacks as well as the Freeco speeder at Target, no luck at Wal-mart though.
