I got them at the new LEGO Flagship store in Copenhagen, but that might a little to far away from the US They'll be up on S@H eventually - give it time.
January 9, 201114 yr Amazon seems to have all the sets (except the special editions) on the UK website. I found them by typing in the set number. I'm not sure about availability in over countries so you may have to check. Thought this may come in handy considering amazon has good delivery times.

Strange… I did see it in a LEGO Store, though, so it's certainly available. As for Mace's Starfighter, it's probably exclusive to either Target or Walmart.

So, has anybody in the United States found 7869 Battle for Geonosis at any store other than LEGO? I still cannot seem to find out to which retail store this set is exclusive.

I'm inclined to think that that is incorrect, since it is listed as "Hard to Find" rather than "Exclusive," but it is equally strange that none of the U.S. exclusive store triumvirate (Wal Mart, Target, and TRU) seem to carry this set when it is already available for sale from LEGO. It's remarkably odd.
