homoludens Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 Well, I tried to answer this question a few posts up, but I still cannot seem to find out a true answer. So, has anybody in the United States found 7869 Battle for Geonosis at any store other than LEGO? I still cannot seem to find out to which retail store this set is exclusive. 7869 is available here in Germany in a super 3-in-1 set together with 7913 and 7914 at Toys R US. In the past, German and American TRUs always had the same exclusives, so I assume you might want to look there. Cheers Frank Quote
Clone OPatra Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 Maybe it really is a Spring release since it didn't appear in the January catalog, and TLG just decided to sell it early. It is in the US January catalog 7869 is available here in Germany in a super 3-in-1 set together with 7913 and 7914 at Toys R US. In the past, German and American TRUs always had the same exclusives, so I assume you might want to look there. Thanks, that's more solid evidence than any I've heard yet. Quote

homoludens Posted January 17, 2011 Posted January 17, 2011 Sorry, I don't have any pictures, but I saw the set last week. Set number is 66377. It was 69,99 € - couldn't convince myself to get it at that price. Frank Quote

saibot Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 (edited) 7868 - Mace windu's starfigher has appeared here in the Smyths toy stores in Ireland. I thought this was going to be an SE like 7869 (no sign of that one yet though). Here's a link for a super-pack on german ebay, http://cgi.ebay.de/Lego-66377-Star-Wars-7869-7914-7913-Super-Pack-3in1-TOP-/320644526809?pt=DE_Allesf%C3%BCrdKind_Spielzeug_Lego&hash=item4aa7e732d9#ht_500wt_1156 Edited January 18, 2011 by saibot Quote
Fives Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 (edited) I just curious, where are the new sets in Ontario? I've been searching for weeks now, and found only three sets, the Jedi Shuttle, Bounty Hunter ship and Mandalorian Pack. Any ideas why they aren't out in Toys R Us stores? EDIT: I found the three sets mentioned at other stores than Toys R Us. Edited January 19, 2011 by Fives Quote
KotZ Posted January 18, 2011 Posted January 18, 2011 Can anybody recommend any good sets that have come up? Preferably under $20 USD. I know I want to get the new Mandalorian pack, but I don' know if there is any better ones. Quote

I personally don't have it, but from what I have seen it looks great, and it is under $20 Quote

TheBrickDaddy Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 I live in the US and I can't find Mace Windu's starfighter anywhere! I think someone on another site found it at a Target- is this true? Quote
Brickdoctor Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 (edited) S@H has the 3PO-Leia-Ackbar, Han-Paploo-Biker, and Palpy-Gunray-Farr magnet sets for 75% off- down to $4.48 each. If you don't mind the China plastic, this is the cheapest way to get ahold of that Mon Cal 'fig. Most Brand Stores also have the sets for 50% off last I checked, not sure if they're discounted too now. Evidently something good has come out of the magnet gluing thing, because it looks like TLG is trying to clear out all the non-glued ones. Edited January 21, 2011 by Brickdoctor Quote

I haven't heard anything about it. I think this set is not supposed to come out in the U.S. until Spring. Not being on S@H already is a good indicator of that. Quote
Santhor Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 (edited) In the U.S. at least, and on Walmart.com, the Clone Turbo Tank is marked down to a whopping $93.87 USD, the Slave 1 at $62.67 USD, the Separatist Shuttle racks up at $24.54, and the new battle packs at $11.54. NOTE: They also have a few sets at a couple dollars off, namely Plo Koon's Starfighter and General G.'s Starfighter. (I probably missed some others too) Personal Note: Leave some for me, because I need to get a bit of extra money before I go buying all the new, old, and every other set! -Santhor Edited January 23, 2011 by Santhor Quote
Brickdoctor Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 the new battle packs at $11.54. Definitely should buy those from S@H. Quote
AngryChair Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Definitely should buy those from S@H. Us over here in the UK have to pay just under £10 which works out nearly $16..! Not cheap are they..! Very nice though Quote
prateek Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Definitely should buy those from S@H. Why? That's $0.45 off... Quote
Brickdoctor Posted January 24, 2011 Posted January 24, 2011 Why? That's $0.45 off... It is? I must have missed something. I was under the impression that they're still $10.99 USD. Quote
