To get "cought up" I would strongly recommend checking the first page of this thread. I don't know how big 10179 is (I'm guessing somewhere around a meter in length) but someone approxmiated 10221 to be 4ft, which is considerably larger than my estimate. Availability talk belongs here. Eurobricks members generally don't like it when Americans ask about availability in the States because not everyone here is from the States. And I request that you put more care into posting in standard English as this is an international forum and not everyone here is as fluent in English as a native speaker would be, and pressing the "Shift" key takes little to no physical effort and nearly as little thought. Welcome to Eurobricks! Quote
sacredvolt501 Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 So if the sets come out in June everywhere else, then why would they wait a whole month or two before there available in the U.S.? Quote
Darth CJ Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 So if the sets come out in June everywhere else, then why would they wait a whole month or two before there available in the U.S.? I'm not sure plus is that the same for britain? Quote
Snowspeeder Pilot Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 So if the sets come out in June everywhere else, then why would they wait a whole month or two before there available in the U.S.? Hello, I talked last night with Toys R Us manager in Calexico, California and she told me that they expect the new releases for Star Wars at the end of June, they have in shelves new Sets for Castle, UFO and some City. Hope this helps. Quote
sacredvolt501 Posted May 30, 2011 Posted May 30, 2011 and also not to start an international thing but I just was wondering about availability cause it seems like in earlyer post people were asking about it so why shouldnt I? I'm a colector too just as much as all of you plus isn't what this post is for to learn information? Kitfistonator Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 I'm pleased to report that the 2011 Lego Star Wars Summer sets have been released in every country with the exception of United States , Canada, and surprisingly, Ireland as of today, Tuesday May 31st, 2011. This has been a year of surprises for LEGO and I honestly believe that we will see the Summer sets here in America tomorrow, June 1st! Again, this is speculation on my part but i have reason to believe they will be released tomorrow. Fingers crossed! Quote
Sirtank Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 I hope the new sets show up in the US soon. I finally got tired of waiting for Mace's Starfighter, and bought one off ebay, so I'm all ready for the new wave of sets now. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted June 1, 2011 Posted June 1, 2011 Unless things have changed drastically, if the US was officially releasing the sets tomorrow, we should've seen them at TRU already. But there's always hoping. Quote
Thego Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 If anyone is in the Salisbury area in the UK, I saw the Twilight 7680 in The Entertainer for £49.99, reduced from £79.99 today. Quote
Darth CJ Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 I have found the new sets on Lego.com they aren't availible yet but still! Find them here. Quote
mutley777 Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 I have found the new sets on Lego.com they aren't availible yet but still! Find them here. Well it looks like Smyths toys have all the sets online, with a release date of 20th July. They are also listing the Star Wars advent calendar as £24.99. Smyth Lego Star Wars Quote
KimT Posted June 8, 2011 Posted June 8, 2011 For merge I have found the new sets on Lego.com they aren't availible yet but still! Find them here. I've merged your topic here, as all discussion on availability and prices go here. We'd rather not have individual topics for such, as they would clutter the forum. Just imagine one topic on availability for each country in the world - Quote
Fallenangel Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 (edited) I presume that that figure is 3,200 pieces, and not 3.2 pieces. Because £3.50 is a lot for nearly 4 pieces . That confused me too, until I remembered that periods are used in place of commas in the numerical systems of certain European countries. EDIT: Wait, I see what you did there... but I thought the price for the 3.200-piece set was £370,0? Edited June 11, 2011 by fallenangel309 Quote

EDIT: Wait, I see what you did there... but I thought the price for the 3.200-piece set was £370,0? 370 euros I estimated it to be about £350. (Oh and I believe its a full stop in Europe not a Period ). Quote
Lego Otaku Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 So why 3.200 and not 3k2? In USA it would have been either 3,200 or 3.2k. Just as bad as confusing football in USA from football with most of the other Countries (football being black and white round ball, not oval pig skin ball) Quote

Just as bad as confusing football in USA from football with most of the other Countries (football being black and white round ball, not oval pig skin ball) Make that USA and Canada. Personally, the price of the Executer doesn't matter that much- it's going to be expensive either way. Quote
TheDarkness Posted June 11, 2011 Posted June 11, 2011 Make that USA and Canada. Personally, the price of the Executer doesn't matter that much- it's going to be expensive either way. And US sellers will do a roaring trade as international buyers try to find ways to pick it up cheaper. Personally, I cannot wait Quote
Aeroeza Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 ...Personally, the price of the Executer doesn't matter that much- it's going to be expensive either way. Price be dammed! I'm more worried about that missing 0.8 of a brick! Let's face it, 3.2 Lego bricks for a UCS set is a real stretch even for the best MOCers out there.... Quote

legolandia Posted June 12, 2011 Posted June 12, 2011 Wow, Lego are certainly pushing it a bit too much with the prices. £350 for a set that contains 3200 bricks is a hell of a lot of money. I really wanted to get this set but at that price I don't think I will bother. Quote
Sir von Lego Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 7879 Hoth Base: I talked to a TRU employee, she said: Release date in Germany will be the beginning of July Pieces unknown Price 99,99 EUR greetings Hendrik Quote
Mr Man Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 7879 Hoth Base: Release date in Germany will be the beginning of July Pieces unknown Price 99,99 EUR Thanks for the info, but I still won't be getting it. It looks stupid and costs far to much. Quote
Brickdoctor Posted June 13, 2011 Posted June 13, 2011 Price 99,99 EUR Wow. I know prices for LEGO Star Wars have been going up, but I didn't expect it to be this expensive. I was thinking $100 USD at most. Quote
