The lieutenent figure looks great. I know it's $50 in the US but it will be interesting to see how it translates to the UK. There's never a standard, with $75 it's usually £50. However with $50 it could be either £25 or £50. If its £25 I could hopefully be able to pick up a couple.

Promo minifigs have been released in multiple places before. Chrome Vaders were even sold individually in Europe at one point. It wouldn't have made much sense for TLG to make a minifig just for one regional event; it's not as if Star Wars Weekend at LLCA is a huge event like SDCC. I understand that you paid extra to get the minifigs earlier, but there has been precedence for releasing promo figs multiple times before, and neither TLG nor anyone else forced you to buy the minifigs early instead of waiting to see if they'd be released again.

It was obvious that they will be available widely. It was only a matter off time and u paid for that time.

yes, the same blue clone lieutenant 5001709 that have been an exclusive give away in Legoland California on the Star Wars day isnow the freebe for Star Wars purchases over 50$ in September.

It is the same fig where some collectors paid 100-200$ for it. If have never seen the fig at eBay Germany.

No, I think it has to be a $50 Star Wars set. So while your order would amount to that price, you only have a $9.99 SW purchase.

Return it and order it in september. You can even return opened sets and get a full refund given that it´s not too long ago. Great service.

The 50$ Iron Man promotion translated to 30€. I believe also 25 pound but I am not sure.

The Chrome Vader selling was more of a misunderstanding of the TRU salespeople, it said everywhere the fig would have a worth of 5€ but it was never meant to be sold, only given as an extra to purchases of certain worth.

And even then, I don´t think the price would have ever changed and if you got them for like 20 bucks the situation would be the same, Shirtless Maul and TC-14 cost the same on the aftermarket.

For many promotions it worked with sets of every theme because of some bug or other mistake by S@H, so it´s not really set in stone.

Does anyone know how much you have to spend in the UK to get the clone lieutenent, in September. I know in the US it's $50, but it changed in the UK constantly.

Jor el was $75 and £50

Hulk was $50 and £25

Iron man with drone was $50 and £25

So am I right in thinking its £25?

no, i bet its more. When in theUS was a 50$ limit, it was a 50€ limit in Germany. I expect for a Star Wars set 35£, at least!

Btw, in the past it has always been that you don't have to sum up specific sets (SW, SH) to reach the 50$ - but just reach it in total and have one specific set (SW in this case) in your cart. Don't know if it was a mistake but always worked. So feel free to stock up on Friends sets, guys! You just need one SW keyring in your order and voila - blue Cloney is yours! I'm considering Hoth, X-Men or the Delorean, but it will depend on my wallet.

How can you feel cheated unless you actually attended the event specifically to receive this figure thinking its exclusive. You've done we'll to get a couple of them I would say, If you we're happy to pay highly for them you can't moan about how easy it is to get them now. I would have loved to be able to spend that kind of money on all these limited figs. I'm just glad they are becoming more available.
