I've just noticed that the new TC-4 minifigure will be available at TRU (in the UK at least!) for a very reasonable £2.49

The new TC-4 minifigure is now available in Toys R Us (UK), albeit in very limited numbers. They are free with a SW purchase above £10, or you can buy them at £2.49 each (limited to two per customer). Not a bad little minifigure, and certainly worth adding to your collection :classic:

Its just a shame that although they are doing the offer online as well as in stores, the online store doesn't have any stocks! I live nearly 2 hours from my nearest Toysrus :(( I've put in a request to be emailed when they get stock, but I'm not holding my breath.

Picked up 4 of the new 2014 Star Wars sets at the Lego store in Utah today. They didn't have them on the shelves quite yet but they were still happy to sell them.

My two local Wal-Marts just got them in over the past few days. Target's still lagging behind but that's semi-normal in my area- one chain or another gets stuff and the other doesn't get it for a week or two after.

I stopped in my local TRU today and they have have all of the new sets in and, surprise - almost all of them are selling for normal msrp! I was shocked. The only set that I saw which was marked up was the AT-AP ( $10 more at $59.99 ). They have a bogo 50% off event which last through the Saturday 22nd so they are some great deals to be had there. I picked up the droid gunship and the police gunship for $75, I was soooo tempted to go nuts on battlepacks but I resisted. We will see if I can avoid going back before the sale is over to buy all of the $25 sets...

Is it normal for new Star Wars sets to sell out completely on Lego.com less than five days after they have been made available?

Does anyone know about how long it takes for sold out sets to become available again?

I think I would be better off going to toyrsus or Walmart.

Also I noticed that the BOGO 50 at toyrsus is for city. Have the stores actually started to apply them to Star Wars sets too? If so how long is the sale going on?

Has that happened? I remember the last Luke's Landspeeder set (from 2010) sold out pretty quickly and then was backordered for several weeks, but that was just one set, and it was an understandable case of being a cheap set ($20) with four classic main characters.

The TRU bogo 50% event that ended yesterday (22nd was the final day) was for everything except the Lego Movie sets, if there is another one that started today I don't know about it but it wouldn't surprise me if it were just for city sets.

Wow I missed it by one day! I was expecting it but I took a week off from Lego. It was BOGO 50 for city and Lego movie sets the week before last and now I think it's just city only.
