Every now and then I want to dust off my old PC and play the original Lego Racers. It's such a fun game and still very challenging, especially the time races against Veronica Voltage. I enjoy very much the tracks and all the extra builds that you see when racing. And the brick based power up system is so cool and so is also being able to drive Lego cars through those amazing landscapes based on the classic Lego themes. Anyone else still playing it?

Had it on Nintendo 64 so have not played it on a long time.

I found this link to a website where supposedly you can play it online for free but I haven't tried myself because I can play it on my old computer

Ah good memories…I used to play it on Game Boy and on PC. I wonder if that game could be available again, like we buy it through PlayStation or Switch.

That would be great. I also still have my old Game Boy Color and the GBC version of Lego Racers but that version is not so good but still fun to play sometimes. Another game that is fun to play is the Lego Movie 2 video game, it has so many fun worlds to explore and so many minifigs that are playable, even Blacktron 1 and Classic Space.

Agreed, downloadable games from PS or Switch would be good. When i found t there is new Game Boy device recently, i wished I could play Lego Racers there but i don’t have that game sadly. 

 I also love playing Rock Raider and Island video games, pretty fun to play. Lego Movie 1 video game is pretty neat it i never play the TLM2 video game. Playable Blaktron and Classic Spaceman minifigures are a big bonus! 

I want to check this out some time, our pc we had when this came out wasn't meant for gaming so I missed out on this one as a kid, I may have to check that website out, thanks for that!

Also I just finished the story mode of Lm2 and I had a lot of fun with that one, I think I'll enjoy lego worlds when I get it later but in the meanfime I may have to finally give this racers game a try!

If you haven't played it before you should definitely check it out, it's one of the best Lego games and also quite challenging. Another option is to order it from Ebay, they are quite inexpensive there.

Glad to hear that it worked. Time Trials on Adventure Temple Trail is the most difficult circuit in my opinion.

That is really nice! I love that you've included a shortcut there. Those were always my favourite parts of the tracks. I especially liked the one on Magma Moon Marathon where you had to drive though the colours in the right order.

I haven't played it online myself but it has worked well for others. Lego Racers is such a fun game.

I haven't played that game in ages. I miss the challenge of racing various racers. I think Basil the Batlord and Gypsy Moth were the hardest ones to beat.
