Posted April 23, 2024Apr 23 Its time to show what I have been working on for the last 7 months. A big castle layout, inspired by an french artist I follow on Instagram. He doesnt use LEGO bricks for his castle, but various materials, such as wood, carboard and more. His skills to paint is out of this world and attention to details too. When I saw the first picture of the gate and the diamond gate tower, I knew I had to build it in LEGO. And that was the first step in the project. The diamond tower was really tough to construct, especially because of the base angled arches and the tilted inner walls. It took me about a month to figure out and find the right size and techniques. I could write a whole essay about the work, but I will stop here and let you enjoy the pictures
April 23, 2024Apr 23 Wow, amazing work! I love all the wall masonry details, but that diamond tower... gorgeous.
April 23, 2024Apr 23 It's huge! It's incredibly detailed! It's wonderful. Insane work on the castle and grounds.
April 23, 2024Apr 23 Let me find my jaw, I seem to have dropped it somewhere around here... It's AMAZING! Love the tall pointed roofs of the timbered buildings. Keep up the good work!
April 23, 2024Apr 23 Excellent build. I really like the cobblestone pathway inside the castle. The texturing of the castle is nice and i like the little pieces of sand blue and dark tan. The vines add a pop of color. The archways with the dark grey look great. The tudor buildings are a nice touch and the wood framing looks great. The layout of the interior really stands out with the coblestone and the patches of green. All of the stalls and livestock pens bring the castle to life. I like the training grounds and the statue are also nice details. Congratulations on a really great build.
April 23, 2024Apr 23 That sure is a heartbreakenly beautiful design. If you wanted, you could turn it into a small town.
April 23, 2024Apr 23 I agree with others, this is beautiful. It's amazing that you created this in 7 months. That's some serious building skills. Thank you very much for sharing it!
April 24, 2024Apr 24 This is such an incredible build! The level of detail you included is truly astonishing. It must have taken countless hours to plan and create all the unique structures that really bring the castle grounds to life.
