September 19, 2024Sep 19 If anyone is interested, the 31152 Astronaut fits the LRV with a bit of adapting of the legs. I shortened the lower legs by 3 studs. I always thought the legs were way too long on this set. [/img]
September 19, 2024Sep 19 Great idea. Maybe, when you shorten the leg, you also should shorten the upperbody. Still it looks nice!
September 20, 2024Sep 20 That makes the set look a whole lot better!! just gotta fix that satellite dish now.

September 21, 2024Sep 21 @R0Sch Thanks for the basic io file. I finished it model. Had to make some "alternatives" for the missing parts. Plus did some work around for the rubber parts... Also put the model on more tilted stand. Still had a lot of fun. By the way: does anyone know what that thingie with the yellow rubber bands is suppose to be?

It’s the antenna for the Surface Electrical Properties (SEP) experiment package. It’s carried only on Apollo 17. You can see it in this document on page 12.
September 25, 2024Sep 25 @JunkstyleGio You're welcome! Check back in a week or so, and the new tires and mudguards should be available on ldraw.org too. 84772 is already available.
September 27, 2024Sep 27 I extended the wheelbase a bit so the astronaut fits better. There's now also room for a backpack.
