Not dumb at all!

1) Set prizes are shipped anywhere Lego ships sets. TLG sponsors those prizes for us. The smaller, polybag sets are shipped anywhere on earth as they come from my personal collection. As long as I can find the address at my post office I can ship it there.

2) It's an open ended category. So you can build any of those locations you mentioned and they would all fit.

Clear as day now, thanks!

Another question, regarding the Duel of the Fates category: is violent conflict expected, or would verbal conflict be acceptable too?

The idea is physical conflict of some kind. But verbal conflict would be acceptable. Though be warned it may not garner as many points.

For the Duel of the Fates category, a brick-built droid wouldn't count as a minifigure, right? So it would count towards the 100 piece limit.

Or would it count as a minifigure?

Hmmm worried about my entry now

its a non-violent conflict, a duel of perspectives… that will determine the fates of the characters depicted.

If it’s clear I’m gonna lose points because the characters aren’t smacking each other around then that’s a huge bummer

It's not an automatic lose of points. If you build it well it will earn points. But an active conflict is easier to build and depict than a duel of wills.

One question. For the Sabine's paint category, are you allowed to rebuild an existing set, but just recolor it to make it colorful? Or do you have to custom build an existing ship with color? Thanks

Only official LEGO elements should be used. Avoid third party parts or clone bricks.

Does this mean Custom Printed Minifigures should be avoided as well?

Also for the Coruscant Category is it more of a 'streets of Coruscant' idea or are the interiors of places on the planet allowed? i.e. Palpatine's Office/ Jedi Temple

Custom printed figs should be avoided, yes.

For Coruscant you can do interiors too. Just has to be clearly Coruscant.

@MKJoshA Could you answer this question?

And another one: Do jumping effects (3 transparent pieces) count towards the piece limit or as pieces to kit minifigures, hence not counting?

I'm on the edge and want to be sure.

I can answer that second one for you- he told me earlier that levitating effects count towards the 100 part count.

Sorry for missing this earlier. You can make a brick-built droid and count it as a minifigure. If you do that those parts won't count towards the 100 piece limit. However, the brick-built droid needs to be close to minifigure scale for it to count. No giant load-lifters.

You can re-build an existing ship, but it should be your own design. Don't just use different colored pieces while following instructions.

As MandoKnight said, those pieces would count towards the 100 piece limit.

I've submitted my entry, a reworked and deep cut single seat starfighter from the old republic - The A6 Interceptor

By the way, is this a must?

It's not going to get you disqualified. But if you post it here there's a much better chance of me getting it on the judging sheet and not missing it by accident the first time around.

I've been inspired by the Sabine's paint category, I wonder if I can squeeze an entry in before the deadline.

I have a question about the prompt: it says the ship must exist in Star Wars media but the example you've provided is an original ship (i.e. it's a fan creation and doesn't appear in any Star Wars media). The wording of the prompt seems clear enough but it's contradicted by the example you've given.

So, could you clarify 'must exist in Star Wars media'? Must our entry be an X-wing, Tie fighter, etc. or does the prompt mean our MOC can be an original design but must complement the Star Wars aesthetic?

Also, how far are you willing to stretch the criteria? Can we make modifications to a canon ship or combine two or three to make an 'ugly'?

Thank you!

I think there is no contraindication in the rules to post more than one entry per category. In the end all get their score on their own.

But I understand your concern in terms of the aggregate. Anticipating the mods reply, I would withdraw my 'Jedi Night' build for the Grand Admiral contest.

Multiple entries per category are allowed. But each person is still only allowed to win 1 prize.

The first ship shown is the HWK, a ship that shows up in a Star Wars video game and other non-film media. So it's appeared in a form of Star Wars media before. The 2nd example is not a Star Wars ship but was shown as a good example of color used on a ship. Making an ugly would be allowed. Many different Uglies have shown up in Star Wars media before. And even if your specific combo hasn't, as long as you're using Star Wars ships an Ugly would be fine.

spot on my concern, but the mods havent cleared it up entirely,

do both mocs receive score that contributes to the aggregate?

if so in theory next year i could make 120 mocs and as long as each one scores 1, i get full marks towards grand admiral.

its not me wanting to take away from anybodys fun, but surely it should be that you can build multiple entries per category, but you must nominate your primary entry into the contest for scoring or that your highest scoring entry is the one that contributes to the aggregate.

im sorry for being this way, its the competitiveness in me, i just want to win so badly

Each MOC would be scored individually. Highest scored MOC counts as your entry for the category.
