BaronSat Posted July 31, 2008 Author Posted July 31, 2008 I think Palpatine would have a jacuzzi and a pool table :)To be serious I think the colour scheme you picked is more Chancellor Palpatine than Emperor Palpatine. Compare his office in AOTC or ROTS to the throne room in ROTJ and you'll see what I mean. Jeremy Who want to see Palpatine wearing a thong? I understand your point of view about the color scheme, I was probably in a good mood when I made the interior. As i wrote previously it's not accurate to the movie otherwise there would have be only lines of seats... not very exciting for me. Quote
KimT Posted August 2, 2008 Posted August 2, 2008 Nice model. Please deeplink pics and I'll add it to the index. KimT Quote

pedro Posted August 3, 2008 Posted August 3, 2008 Another amazing creation BaronSat! It's always great to see your work and this take on the Imperial Shuttle is truly inspiring. Good stuff! That must have taken a fair amount of time to plan and create? Quote

Good stuff! That must have taken a fair amount of time to plan and create? Thanks and I'm always pleased to share with you all. I can't say how long it tooks really but I started the work on late February (2008) and took the final model's photos on early July! But as I don't know how many time I spent on it each day (or week) I can't really calculate... but that makes a lot of time... really Quote

This MOC is in a class of it's own! I always find this type, the most amazing of LEGO models; how you built and designed it in such a way that it does not look like LEGO! And it's also a fully functioning playable set This is something to aspire to. Thanks for the inspiration! Edit: Just have to add, if I was a Star Wars minifig, I would feel scared and intimidated at the sight of this vehicle Edited August 3, 2008 by chris_austin Quote
KimT Posted August 4, 2008 Posted August 4, 2008 I've added the pics to the first post for all to enjoy. This great MOC will be indexed within a few minutes. Again great work Baronsat - perhaps You could take a pic with the regular Imperial Shuttle next to it? KimT Quote

If ever you want to add some other of my customs (like the death Star) and need the links, please tell me. Yes, take a photo of the shuttles (Lego and mine) together is a good idea. Too bad I din't think to that when I shot the model now I don't have it anymore!!! Quote

the_lego_dude Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Dude! I love your models, I don't think i have ever seen one I don't like. They are all just amazing! And this one just continues that legacy. Quote
Joey Lock Posted August 25, 2008 Posted August 25, 2008 Brilliant! No offence but I dont think it was really £795 worth of Lego... I would buy it if its around £100, The Taj Mahal is 5922 pieces for £200 and this has 3200 Pieces for £795! Ok rant over, Its really nice inside! Is it really that big in the Movie? Quote
CloneMe Posted August 28, 2008 Posted August 28, 2008 That thing is awsome. The first couple pics doint even look lego. I really like the design on the inside. Also the thing actually opens correctly. Quote
