I'd like to know if I can export partlist with pictures  to excel?

I know there is possible to export xml、csv file, but without the pictures.

I do that via Rebrickable where you can make a parts list and import a Bricklink Wanted List XML and then Export the Rebrickable parts list to HTML and copy/import the HTML to Excel.

Oh boy, that’s complicated.  Why not simply use BrickStore?

 

Probably a better way to make these lists if you need them often, but I already use Rebrickable for parts and set lists to not only keep track of which bricks I got but also where they are, including online connection with Bricklink Buy. Via Rebrickable also works online without installing anything, better for the two occasions I needed it. But I might give Brickstore a try (although it seems more a Bricklink Store Inventory manager rather than AFOL brick collection manager), thanks for the tip.

I've used the same method for exporting BOM's from Stud.io models with graphics as @Berthil mentioned.  What is BrickStore?  How does it work for exporting graphic BOM's from Stud.io?  Are there any links you can share for me to read up on this instead of expecting direct and complete answers to just be given to me?  I'm quite interested if you can offer help to get me started.

Edit: I just looked it up, assuming you are referring to https://www.brickstore.dev/?  This looks quite interesting for some of my needs!  I'd still be glad for any tips you can offer to help me get started using it.

Using Rebrickable is fine… but exporting to HTML and then using Excel is what I find overly complicated.

Yep, that’s the one :)

It’s indeed more oriented toward sellers but it’s great for managing parts lists / Wanted Lists and orders.  Better than juggling with multiple formats and Excel.
What I find it’s missing is a way to manage a builder collection: a list of sets & MOCs, some built, some not, and, from that, an automatic list of available parts or an easy way to find what set/MOC you need to scavenge for that one elusive part.  Rebrickable has something similar: you can tell it if a set you have is built or not… but I find it’s a bit complicated for MOCs (or subsets).

That is the exact reason why I keep Rebrickable Set lists like 'Box, Build, Part Out' and put the sets (and MOCs) in these lists. The parts in the sets (and MOCs and loose part purchases) I add to Parts lists like Bricklink, TLG etc.. This way I know how I got the parts and where they are at the moment. Downside is that parts are double counted on Rebrickable, but by making the correct parts lists available for builds you know the inventory at hand and if not at hand, where the part is at that moment. For temporary MOCs I have taken parts from builds to put them back later. Adding sets and parts is easy, subtracting parts from parts lists a bit more difficult but works okay for me. Next to Rebrickable I keep an Excel of all what goes in and out with costs in the same categories but without the exact parts (but with part count).

So, Rebrickable tells me nicely what I have, how I got it and where it is with images of sets, MOCs and parts. The Excel tells me when and where purchased (and sold) with how many parts (with average part price). Just yesterday I used it to see where I have black 6.6L umbrella stands for a MOC and Rebrickable showed me that perfectly.

To get back on topic, I don't know if that system is workable for the topic starter as we don't know where the lists are for, but it works for me to get an occasional HTML/Excel list of parts with images.
