History of the Blacktron 1 minifig

From left to right, The minifig from the Blacktron Cruiser (2023), Vintage Minifigure Collection Blacktron 1 (2009 and 2012) and the original Blacktron 1 minifig (1987-1991).

Aren't they amazing! I'm so happy that they have brought back the Blacktron 1 minifig a couple of times. Does anyone have close up pictures of the Vintage Collection Blacktron fig with black hands?

For me, the 2023 version is the best of those three.

I think that they are all great in their own way. I wonder why the Vintage Minifig Collection one has yellow hands, Is it yellow gloves or just his hands? I believe it's yellow gloves since yellow is prominently used in Blacktron sets.

Nah, he's just off-duty. 
Don't know if this is the effect of how you stored those minifigs, but the vintage version's torso print looks the least affected. Or is is simply the quality of the print?

You can also see the differences in the head prints, the old figures have smaller eyes and mouths and it gives them a different facial expression.

There are also at least three collectible minifigs that are great additions to the theme too.

The original minifigure I've had since I was a kid but the vintage one and the one from the Blacktron Cruiser I've bought new and they've been stored away from light so they are in perfect original condition. The torso printing on the vintage version is more white while the other two have a very light gray printing.

Here are all the new Blacktron 1 minifigs

and the new Blacktron 2 minifig

I made some changes to the minifigs above to make them more like the originals

I really like the original Blacktron 2 with the jetpack, I think they should reintroduce that piece
