Mandalorianknight Posted May 23, 2024 Posted May 23, 2024 (edited) On the world of Tython, birthplace of the Force-users, the Jedi and Sith clash in a final battle for the fate of the galaxy.... Last time I did the singular base display, so here I tried something new- mostly seperate stands for each figure, sort of like the miniatures some games come with. The stands are 94 pieces in total, worst-case scenario (where we count the entire lightning chain towards the part count rather than the ones touching the figures' hands as figure accessories) Here we have the light side: (L-R) Jedi Knight: While he's shown here taking a lightning blast to the arm, the Jedi Knight's bravery knows no bounds. He puts his life on the line to protect his galaxy, leaping into combat with his light broadsword in hand. Jedi Sage: This monk has transcended standard physical combat. Floating in the air, deep in meditiation, eyes closed in concentration, the Jedi Sage's amethyst blade responds to his telekinetic commands, swooping in to block enemy attacks. Jedi Battlemaster: A jedi uses the force for knowledge and defense, never for attack. But the Jedi Battlemaster understands defeating the sith is key to retaining the balance of the force. Wielding two dual-bladed sabers at once, she whirls into battle against the sith. Luke Skywalker: Saber overflowing with energy, eyes bursting with a green glow, the greatest jedi to ever live, reawakened by the will of the force, blazes into the final confrontation against the sith. And here we have the dark side: (R-L): Sith Acolyte: Wielding a force-enhanced sword, roaring in red-eyed anger, the Sith Acolyte calls upon his rage, blasting lightning out of his arm, rushing towards the Jedi in his tattered robes. Sith Hunter: The Sith Hunter looks less like a known species and more like the product of Sith Alchemy, a demon out of legend. It's horns and teeth have ripped into as many jedi as it's four sabers. Sith Menace: The Sith Menace has devastated worlds, army at his back. An unstoppable force covered in unbreakable armor, it's unknown whether there's even an organic being left in the suit, or it's simply armor possessed by a Sith's long-dead spirit. The Dark Side: No snarling face, no blazing red blade, no soul to reach. This specter is the core of what makes the sith, the very embodiment of the dark side taking semi-corporeal form. My last entry was more of a twist on the entry idea with the whole shattered glass thing, so I tried to do the core of the entry idea here- a fight between the Jedi and Sith. CardinalBricks Posted May 28, 2024 Posted May 28, 2024 Some amazing figures here—which is the point of this category after all! I would give this a lot of points for the "technical ability" metric if I were a contest judge (Superman heat vision/Bruce Banner hulking out heads, the various elements used for lightsaber blades, dynamic poses). You really brought the goofy EU vibes with this and I'm all for it. Quote

The heads and weapons you mentioned, Wrecker's armor, Mustafar Anakin's torso. This was essentially me looking through my figure collection and seeing what would make the most over-the top sith or best jedi. Quote
