[M4-24 - Coruscant] - Coruscant Lower Markets

Inspired by S3 E8 (Evil Plans) of Star Wars the Clone Wars animated series, I decided to build this for my Coruscant entry.

Two wookie friends eagerly wander the busy marketplace, going from stall to stall to see what each seller has to offer.

A local cyborg is offering to sell a new hyperdrive, Power couplings and even a new R2 unit!

As a small Easter egg, I included 3PO and R2 in the alleyway, entering the colorful marketplace.

This Jedi has just come out of hiding from the Empire on Coruscant. He whizzes through the air on his speeder. Patrolling Stormtroopers spot the wanted Jedi and start firing! Switching into auto-pilot, the brave Jedi activates his lightsaber and leaps onto the windscreen to deflect the blasts.

The speeder was especially fun to design, and I am very glad with how it came out. It is custom design.

Well done indeed! I especially like the differently colored transparent wall parts. It gives the build a very Coruscant-y mood! 

I like the idea of the markets as well. Such a nice scenery. 

The green speeder is another highlight, though from design relatives point of view it looks more like an earth bound land speeder. Did it lose traction and is it about to fall of the roof, or is it supposed to be a flying one?

Very nice street scene with the building in the back and quite some speeder action! I like the market stalls. Good parts usage of the technic panels for the black and blue awning. I also like the greebling in the base with that orange pipe.

But the highlight surely are the transparent wall elements. I might steel this technique in the future and light the pieces up with a flashlight What did you use as light source?

I really like that you broke up the monotonous light bley walls (which is of course necessary in a representation of Coruscant) with pipes, cavities, interesting textures, and other colors. Especially in that corridor that 3PO and R2 are walking through, it is so atmospheric with the crumbling wall. The market setting is brilliant as well, because of course there would be all sorts of vendors on that planet. This is one of my favorite Coruscant MOCs I've seen.
