Kozikyo86 Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 Hi! I bought so many Bat Lords... and I finally have to build something for them... After a few months of break, I'm back in the world of Castle with a new project - the Witch's Tower! The Fright Knight's land is not a pleasant place, dark, gloomy, large spiders, poisonous plants, black dragons and corpses everywhere a perfect place for the home and laboratory of the main character of this project. To build this moc, I specifically went back to the past and bought a new dragon and a witch from 1997 More about this project on my channel, Edge of Bricks. If you want to know the Witch's name, her relationship with the Bat Lord and other interesting facts, come visit! For construction I used several unusual elements from Lego Super Mario, do you know which ones? Quote
VinnieCannoli Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 (edited) Amazing! Fright Knights is my favorite castle faction and you did an amazing job here! I love how solid the structure looks. PS: Also yes i also thought that the Witch and Basil are enemies at first (the witch theme was clearly "spiders" not "bats" as i saw). But then after seeing more stuff and playing i made a headcanon - the Witch is chaotic neutral character that sometimes getting hired by Basil. They sometimes work together, but often conflict. Shroffy123 Posted June 8, 2024 Posted June 8, 2024 Really awesome job! I love seeing fright knight mocs. Even though the builds were odd, Ioved this theme as a kid. Quote
Kozikyo86 Posted June 9, 2024 Author Posted June 9, 2024 @VinnieCannoli What game had this information in? Lego Racers? I also love this series, maybe because of this plot outline! :) Thanks @Shroffy123 I was looking for a lot of information, I forgot that the Witch also had other names than those I gave in the video, there was also "Hubble Bubble". And I don't know if it was a romance with Majisto or some distant family Quote
jtooker Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Awesome tower! I can't wait to watch the video later - you always do a great job explaining your steps and showing off the build. Quote
Lion King Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Oh wow, that’s wickedly awesome! I love that witch’s tower! geart work. :) Quote
Yoggington Posted June 9, 2024 Posted June 9, 2024 Just watched the vid, and as YouTube is gobbling legit comments in favour of letting spam flourish, I'll talk here. Fantastic build, with the colour scheme especially evocative. Big fan of the single-plate height grays in the black wall. I'd have loved to see a fuller interior, but understandable it had to be given up for the sake of the wonderful hexagon techniques. Great as ever, keep it up. Oh also, yes to shorter builds for single video 'series'. Might make life easier on you to be juggling a few of those at a time instead of one humongous one at a time. Quote
MaximB Posted June 11, 2024 Posted June 11, 2024 I've always found it strange to use black for towers and castles, but this one looks cool! Great work! Quote
Third Navigator Posted June 11, 2024 Posted June 11, 2024 Great tower for bat lord! I love all of those pieces stacked well. Quote
Doddsino Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 Glad you went for more of the Night Lord's Castle instead of the Witch's Magic Manor. Quote
Space Coyote Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 Awesome stuff, I love the detailing and color scheme, Fright Knights was a favorite of mine as a kid so this was a real treat for me. I love that hooded minifigure, the black hood looks great with the red armor torso! Quote
zoth33 Posted July 6, 2024 Posted July 6, 2024 I like the design of the tower and nice use of the red roof piece. The base looks great. The use of the tiles around the windows looks great. Quote
Tbennington Posted August 2, 2024 Posted August 2, 2024 This is super awesome! Great build! It got me excited like looking at the magazine pictures as a kid. Thanks for the thorough video as well! I can’t remember if I lost my cape for the witch or if the minifigure army set didn’t come with one but she looks badass! Quote
