Was this based off a real ship? If so, this could answer our questions.

Actually, no. I just built it and it turned into something resembling a ship's watch. I wasn't conscious of the look, I was just trying to see what would be good. By the way, the ship can be split in two, because I originally wanted to show a sinking ship similar to the Titanic. But I didn't like any version of it, but this "modularity" remained

I'd be curious to know what it looks like when it is split it two.

Do you have even a quick render available?

I will make one tomorrow and upload it.

This sinking, broken into two version sounds very interesting, can't wait to see it. ;)

This could be interesting feature of the build, a reference to old sets with alt builds and some new one that enabled reconfiguring the model (like new Barracuda or some HP sets that are basically modular castle segments).

You won't see ilyn helenet because that part hasn't been worked out. You can only split the ship in two. I'm taking a picture of this. I will upload it soon.

I've put up another picture of how to split the boat in two. As I said, it didn't turn out to be anything, because when it was an aspect, the whole entry looked completely different.

Seeing the ship split in two is certainly interesting, but I can see why it didn't work out. There's not a whole lot more it could have added to the final build. You made the right decision not to go down that route.

I do like the idea of a diorama of the ship's final moments and it captures the chaos and destruction very well. Using those elements (I don't really know what they are) to simulate water splashing or explosions is clever.

If there is one suggestion I could make, is maybe set the ship at an angle so it's not parallel to the border. Pointing it just a few degrees in another direction could make the scene look a bit more dynamic.

Even a slight lift at the ends of the ship would work too. Consider hinge plates or other hinges.

That's also an idea! I was thinking of the Bonsai Tree which does both of these quite ingeniously and rather simply.

Great work on this small diorama! It is great to see some details in this small moc. Maybe you could make it a little bigger and add the other ship which steve is battling against. Maybe it could be Redbeards Barracuda? Still, great work!

Thank you very much! 👍🏴☠️🍻 I deliberately didn't want to depict the enemy ship. It's more suggestive of who he's fighting. Plus it was originally meant to be a small entry, I just exceeded the number of pieces
