Hi guys and gals,

first of, I couldn't find a suitable translation or description for the german word "Baustofftransporter", meaning a truck for transporting construction material like wood, stone, and so on. So if anybody has a fitting word, please let me know, so I can change the title :D  @gyenesvi Thx!

The model I am planning to build for TC27 has long been lurking on my to-do-list and will hopefully be a fitting entry. Basically I will do a generic version of this configuration:

Planned features:

- HOG steering of front and rear axle
- fake inline 6 engine (maybe with the new components from the Yamaha)
- lifting of rear axle (depends on how well I get the cranes stability/connection to the frame)
- foldable sides
- outriggers on the rear for the crane
- crane turning, elevation and extension

Still undecided if I go with pneumatics or even a dumb battery box behind the cab and 1 motor for the crane action... could be interesting :-)

Just started today, so very likely to change:

Transport truck or transporter truck sounds better to me. Otherwise it sounds like you plan to use a crane to transport a truck.

Often in Nz and Oz referred to as a Hiab truck though the biggest selling Hiab system is palfinger. The combinations are quiet varied here but yours is very European with the steered and lift third axle. I will watch with interest.

Did you mean new engine pieces from the new Kawasaki set? Or you plan to have a transmission using components from the Yamaha? I don't think there are any engine parts new or exclusive to the Yamaha.
