While Ward Len'ya assembles a new team on Corellia and the New Republic's Aurora Squadron is reactivated on Corulag, the sinister forces in the galaxy do not rest as well. On Coruscant, a mysterious hooded figure arrives and passes all security measures, set up by the alerted ISB...

»Who is she? She's beautiful! «

»i don't know. I've never seen her here. «

 

The mysterious hooded figure has a clear destination...

...the abandoned industrial levels, deep down, under kilometers of concrete and transparisteel, where he or she is already impatiently awaited...

»Baron Vonreg. Is it you? I was afraid you weren't coming. Coruscant isn't safe anymore. Especially not for the emperor’s faithful. «

»Indeed. I heard that Isard is tired of the Grand Vizier and the group of lickspits the imperial council always was. «

»Rude, but true. She has put the grand vizier under house arrest. The two are playing a game of Holo-chess and we are the pawns. «

»You can imagine, I assumed a big risk to come here, curator Kuenaga. This time, you better have something of value for me. «

» Hrmpf. How the tides turn... some time ago, you wouldn't be this daring… «

The old man produces an artifact out of his pocket and hands it over to Vonreg.

» Ah, the Disciples' Heart. Good enough - for the time being. « 

»So you only came here to scrounge another piece of the late emperors treasures? Or are you finally willing to help me? You know I need to get off world. Sooner or later, she will kill us! «

»I understand your impatience but that won't be easy, curator. The ISB has its agents everywhere. «

»But you... you managed to come here. Despite being wanted for treason. Why would they let you pass, unless... you are part of the ISB?! «

»Calm yourself, Kuenaga. I'm no friend of Isard and her band of spies. I have other ways to come and go... «

Indeed. The real Ezhugh Vonreg is safe somewhere else, giving orders to his servant....

»I can get you off world. But it will come with a price. «

»What do you want, Vonreg? Another relic from the Imperial palace? «

»No. You know better than me that Palpatine kept his most precious artifacts safe from the cringers here. The real treasure is on a hidden planet somewhere. And I want it all... «

Hello and welcome to chapter 4 of the "Raiders of the Lost Art". I had to pull-in this piece of story and change of perspective because of the "May the 4th" contest.

I hope with the double posting alongside my Coruscant entry for M4-24, it is eligible for the x2 points

I have already commented on this great build in the M4 thread but let me add that the additional pictures with the yellow/orange lightning look very atmospheric and create a great setting for such a conspiratorial meeting on the lower levels of Coruscant! I really would like to know who is this mysterious figure (changeling) Vonreg sent in his place while directing from his mansion.

Love how you incorporated a changeling into your story. Great use of a minifig head swap between pictures to show that. And of course your build is outstanding. Love the variations in all the levels. And as part of M4 it gets x2 points.
