That is why I prefer review by @kbalage or @Sariel because they always show new or onteresti g parts on their reviews

They also take longer to come out

Those #40 and #41 inside curve 3x11 tapered panel mean soon we will get 3x5(original #1 87080 and #2 87086) and 3x7(original #3 64683 and #4 64391) version also.

Hopefully!

The functions look interesting too!

Set looks very good; the only thing that would like is that TLC could use this oportunity to introduce 28 tooth spur gear with pneumatic pumps...

Built this today. All functions work flawlessly. One thing noted in the review above is that the pneumatic pistons didn't want to work at first, so I thought that some pneumatic tubes are connected incorrectly. Turns out, pistons were seized up, manually extending/retracing pistons a few times solves the issue.

One more thing, the rear attachment of the main sail seems to be 1 stud too high. After reworking this part so that it is 1 stud lower, sail is more straight.

Nevermind, I made a building mistake :pir_tong2:

Amazing set overall. I wonder if the sails can be used as wings in a glider. They should have enough area to reasonably carry a (somewhat heavy) Lego structure made out of long axles.

After reading the comments here and watching a couple of build videos I must say I’ve changed my mind about this set. Until today I’d only seen a few pictures, none of which made this set float my boat. I didn’t realise the ‘complexity’ of the build nor did I appreciate it’s size. It’s now on my to buy list. At the right price of course 🙂

Looks like a very interesting building experience, and an impressive display model. I'm seriously tempted on this one.

I’m looking to purchase this set. Lego advise the width as 33cm which I’m assuming is the  maximum width with the outriggers fully extended? If so could anyone that has built advise the minimum width (outriggers retracted)? I’m trying to work out what I can fit on my shelves. Many thanks

I measured 33 cm with outriggers dropped and 37 cm with horizontal.
