Awesome! This has a great body shape, it looks vicious and stylish at the same time, and the intermeshed rotors is very unique, this feels like it would've been right at home on store shelves back in the day!

As you can probably tell it's a beefed up version of the old Particle Ionizer. :sweet: The intermeshing rotors are geared together, they are used in a few real helicopters and the 9396 alternate model.

Wicked update. The feel of the original is there, but this is much more powerful. The rotors were instantly recognizable, even with the changes in pieces. Nice to know you geared them to not interfere with each other.

This is so perfect that you should submit it to Lego Ideas!

There is not much M:Tron in Lego Ideas, give it a try!

That would be great to see. To be honest M:Tron might be a little too obscure today to get much traction on Ideas, but I can certainly try putting it up.

Awesome! I love seeing remakes of old space sets and this really hits the spot. Recognisable, but also very original. I like how beefed up it is, great work and thanks for sharing!

I had the honour to see this in person at BrickFair this year, and it was even more impressive!  Probably my favorite M:Tron MOCs of all time!

Awesome! Love that you took the helicopter inspired design of the original one step further with the twin rotors. A gunship feels like a surprising subject to me since I'm used to seeing M:Tron interpreted as either a rescue or mining operation, but I guess even if something like this were a set, the guns could be interpreted as extinguisher cannons/tractor beams in a rescue context, or as asteroid mining lasers.

The engines look nice and beefy, as is fitting for a ship this huge. I'm also both amused and impressed by your use of the "95" signs from the Cars theme — before seeing it here, it wouldn't have even occurred to me how well that gradient matches the colors of the M:Tron logo (as printed on boxes and catalogues)! Very creative choice on your part!
