Noctaerum Posted July 3, 2024 Posted July 3, 2024 First time poster here! I'm excited to share my model of the Kom'rk Class Mandalorian Gauntlet fighter from Season 3 of The Mandalorian TV show! Specifically this MOC is based on the Mark 3 version which appears in The Mandalorian Season 3. Here's a great guide from Ravendeviant on the different versions of the Gauntlet. It took me over a year of on-and-off work to design this. The wings can rotate in two axis just like the real ship. Designing the inner core to handle these rotations was quite a challenge. I'm especially proud of the many exterior details on this MOC. Some of my favorite bits are the wing texture, the engines, the shaping of the blue arches under the cockpit, and the glass cockpit roof.Instructions available on my Rebrickable And a few more pictures on my Flickr. jp-30 Posted July 3, 2024 Posted July 3, 2024 That's gorgeous! Love the size. Those technic panels add that lovely smooth curve too. Quote
Ellisss_2 Posted July 3, 2024 Posted July 3, 2024 Nice build, I like the use of the masonry bricks. Quote
ForgedInLego Posted July 3, 2024 Posted July 3, 2024 Welcome! Getting the rotating assembly for the wings to hold together at that scale is already an impressive feat, but the detailing throughout is impeccable! Like @jp-30 said, I especially love those technic panels used on the fuselage, it really blends together well with the system bricks. Nice job! Quote
FullBrickDev Posted July 3, 2024 Posted July 3, 2024 You know, the last thing I expected from a Star Wars ship is that I would find masonry bricks in it AND that they fit in very well! Excellent greebling overall, and as others pointed out already, great curvature with the Technic piece. Quote
Noctaerum Posted July 4, 2024 Author Posted July 4, 2024 Thanks for the support everyone! Glad you all like the Technic panels as much as I do. Quote
Csaba Posted July 6, 2024 Posted July 6, 2024 (edited) It's a really nice model. How stable is it? Do you think it's swooshable? Edited July 6, 2024 by Csaba Quote
