Chapter 6 - Coronet Spaceport 

Ward Len'ya, Xher and Arthemias Bolt arrive at their docking bay at Coronet spaceport.  

 

 

»Is that the Cloudrunner? So it is Madine in command of this undertaking?«

»Let's just say ... he is aware of what we do. Let's get aboard.«

The three settle in the lounge of the courier ship. 

 

» So what did I miss? Is the Alliance still advancing?«

» You heard about Valor, right?«

» Oh I did. Was a big blow. Any news on who dunnit?«

» Could have been any remnant Warlord or independent mobster, sending a message. What matters is, that the New Rebublic lost essential assets that day. We still may have better morale and stand united but the reality is, the ISB never ceased to exist. And they're regrouping. Just read this. «

» Hrmpf. I'll gladly show 'em one of those camps on Kashyyyk, Narkina or Clonedyke. Give 'em an inside tour. This is wrong on so many levels. Where you got this?«

» It is a transcript of a remnant town hall. Got it via the network.  The important thing is, that there are Imperials who do everything to undermine the Republic efforts for freedom and peace. We are fighting on many fronts. There is the sighting of a Sith lord on Dagro. There are rumors of a dangerous remnant Quarren Moff. And then there is people like Vonreg. «

» But we have Jedi Skywalker, don't we? He blew up the Death Star. Twice. «

» I think you got it wrong, but even if it were so, he is only one man and there is a myriad of worlds on fire. We must - «     

Suddenly, the hatch bell rings. Xher is checking for the intruder. 

» Nice ship you have. YV-560, right? I want to speak with the Bothan.«

» It is alright, Xher. This young man is Mr. Aves. You being here is a surprise for sure, smuggler.  But a welcome one. Does that mean he agreed to a meeting?«

» Come with me and find out. But I only have one free seat...«

Hello and welcome to the 6. chapter of RotLA. The YV-560 Cloudrunner is a ship I built already some months ago and it was displayed on flickr so I guess it should not count for scoring. Hence here some additional images of the hangar set on Corellia without it.

excellent build, not a fan of the plates, but they do come in handy when needed. on to the next chapter!

I like the rough greebling on the walls and the big and small tanks. But my highlight has to be the observation tower! Using the big technic piece is such a great idea!

Thank you and you are right. The ground plates are not optimal. I needed a set for placing the pretty large ship so 64×64 it should be. And I just don't have enough lbg tiles 

Anyway this set to introduce the Cloudrunner was not intended to be super eye catching but I tried a more pragmatic approach. 

After I started the story I feel a little with them film makers when they have to decide what to build up as a set in high detail and what to keep more simple to be able to move on with the story. The dark tan wall plates were coming of a similar thought. How can I cover a tall background with limited amount of bricks and make it still look sloped and somewhat appealing

Thank you. You mean the watch tower? I had it also on the other airfield build, manned with a rebel trooper .

I eluded me in the other moc. Now that I look at it again I spot the tower at the edge of the airfield behind the trees. I guess I was too much focused on the bar In any case, great part usage!

I would say that if you haven't displayed your Cloudrunner here in EB before, we could let it slide that you displayed in on Flickr before. The idea behind that rule is to make sure people don't join the game and then post a bunch of old MOCs. That doesn't seem to apply to this situation. Let me know if you want to post a new topic with the Cloudrunner or just have it added to your score here.

Oh that's great!

I completely understand the rule and the rationale. 

The Cloudrunner will be something like a base for my crew so it will reappear here and there and very nice you would still count it in the score here. I hope there is no objection against from the other players
