YES!!!!! I saw that doughnut truck and I actually kinda dig the new way that City is going with the food trucks. They did it with the burger truck and now they are doing it with the doughnut truck. The vehicle can either be used as a food truck or you can convert it into a stationary doughnut bar. I'll take it.

Is that a new quarter circle  piece on the front, 2x2x2/3, to go with 11477 family of tiles?

Yup! It's also in some other upcoming sets like some of the Creator 3-in-1 sets

I’m intrigued to see 60462 Helicopter, Fire engine and Submarine remix will look like.
Also what are you predictions for the Summer wave?

Presumably new trains as the station and passenger train are retiring. Hope we get some good ones as there really hasn’t been a City train anywhere near as good as the Metroliner since.

Ideally I’d like to see a train subtheme based in the Canadian Rockies. Lots of winters or autumnal trees and appropriate wildlife. Appropriately attired minifigure selection. A decent looking train with no stickers, a sleeping compartment and viewing compartment (ideally several carriages you can buy individually). I’d very much like some form of bridge for trains to cross and newer track parts that allow for an incline to the track.

Who knows what else we will see. I’ve said in another thread I’d either like a more complete safari theme so we finally get some missing African animals (giraffe/zebra/hippo/rhino) with some dark or olive green coloured vehicles.

I’d also like a tropical island subtheme. A decent airport with palm trees and tourists. Other sets with a Paradisa-esque vibe. Waterskiing. Dive boat. Villa with pool.

Finally, a river boat/barge with a rural looking bridge and swan family would be great and would compliment the new modular!

Probably more explorers sets along with other subjects that we usually see in the summer. Nothing really interesting.

I actually kinda like the trains from 2014, 2018 and the downtown streetcar from this year. Those look nice! But I agree with the others. Not really a fan.

YES!!!!! Please bring Paradisa back! I know we have Friends, but what about girls who love minifigs?

Most likely won't happen, but I genuinely want to see how the City theme tackles steam locomotives as some sort of heritage railway subtheme

This is a nice idea

I thought trains were every 4 years unless they’re going to be changing that tradition.

I would like a  Train theme. This is not City themed, but I wish there was a fantasy themed train set, that was motorized and can fit on the track system.

A Dreamzzz themed train set means that you can get 2 trains in 1, so I'll go with that

At risk of getting even more off-topic, I've kind of wished Monkie Kid would have a freight train set, given how many of the early team vehicles were based around cargo containers.

Back on the City subject, I'm not sure how likely a heritage railway theme would be... for the most part, the City theme seems to focus primarily on new and modern subjects rather than historical ones (even if that history is in the context of its preservation in the modern day). I suppose that could change someday...

JB Spielwaren has pictures of this set.  The box states "Mix & Match" and it looks like each of the vehicles have 3 modular sections that can be combined in various ways.

Brickset has also registered its City Series set, which will be released in January 2025.

For reference, the 60449 set, which will be released in March, is a police off-road chase, with 221 pieces and summer releases are known to have police themes.

Update on that set, it actually has 467 pieces.

I don't think it even needs to be part of the City theme, it could be its own thing that just so happens to be City scale
