MODERATORS???

Can you PLEASE read this... we need a NEW topic for all ADVENTURE... From Indiana Jones to LEGO CITY subthemes. CITY sub themes are adventure? NOT CITY anymore.

No we don't, and why are you posting about those sets in this 2025 topic when they're supposed to be 2024 sets still...

I think (as a boomer) that LEGO don't need to add electric artifacts to the sets

If kids are not into building, close city line and transform it in icons, expert,...

Adding electronic to the sets, a part of being opposite to zero carbon footprint policy, are a bad idea:

Electronic artifacts has a programmed obsolescence that makes that this artifacts stop to work after X uses, that means that the item that brings sense to the set disapear

That artifacts make that the price of the sets increase a lot, making then not affordable for the kids (their target public)

If you start the race, you can't stop (if you create a standard and a necessity, you are obligated to not only include the artifacts in all the future sets, but also, developing new and advanced artifacts with every time more functions)

There have been electric components in town/city sets since at least as far back as the 1980s. For example. And that's continued ever since in various iterations, with light and sound.

This is just the latest, integrating new technology. You can still not like it of course, but it isn't new for LEGO to mix in electric stuff.

I wonder if the new crocogators will show up on PAB this year or next then

I mean, sure they will show up on PAB. If I hve to guess, it would be this year given tht Adenturer sets released in Europe in June 2024 just like they did wiht Arctic last year, right?

I am not talking about these ones (they will for sure pop up in a couple of months):

But these ones that are only a limited release in UK now, but apparently not a wide release before next year?

Hey I am also a boomer.

...

These are for children. When I was young, I had the Monorail (SPACE). As an adult I am still very excited about that. LEGO's which move. Now if there are sound, light, moving and maybe some others. Well think about all the children + me. AMAZING!!! Thank You <3 TLG

As far as I heard they are already avaiable in Legoland in Germany.

I don't mind adding electronic elements either - my favourite set of all time was the Metroliner train. However, I don't really think these new limited release jungle sets are particularly great and well designed (although I think the City 2024 was excellent). If we are going to see electronic elements (which will no doubt increase the prices too), I'd rather we have far more lighting options.

Apparently there is a Formula 1 subtheme coming in the January wave - Sets 60442, 60443, 60444, 60445, 60464, and 60474. I suspect that this will be the 2025 version of the prior Stuntz and Space 1HY subthemes.
No prices are known yet, but I suspect that sets '42-'45 will be individual cars, with '64 being a transport truck and '74 being a racetrack set with podium and pit (similar to the old Ferrari F1 sets). I also think that we will get a colourful cast of themed characters for the drivers and their cars (as we did with Stuntz), since otherwise the line would be just a bunch of near-identical builds.

Where did this information come from?  Is it even legit?

I mean F1 is nice but currently there's almost nothing about city 2025 besides the Jungle sets for March (cough-cough for you @legoturtle in case you didn't know)

It's a site called Brick Tab, but this site has just been opened, so I can't check the information.

I saw it on Instagram, and it remains to be seen if this is really reliable information.

Thank you, I couldn't find the other account.  So basically this account started spreading these news on a Discord Server, without any proof or confirmation, just stating the source as Brick Tap

Brick Tab is a Discord Channel related to the Legoleaks-Subreddid (and run by it´s mods). They posted the DC and Marvel Super Heroes Sets before Brickclicker did (not all of them and without prices, but so far those infos were correct). So far I would say they are reliable, though just as Brick Clickers leaks there can of course also be some wrong informations. For instance, I would almost bet that it will be no Formula 1 Subtheme, but rather a Racing one with F1-Style cars.

Doesn´t BrickClicker usually do the same though ;).

Is this because of electric parts? only in UK and small amount of sets...

In case you don't know, these are planned to release in March 2025.

Also it appears that the Rumours of F1 sets coming to Lego City 2025 is true. We might see something a bit similar to the licensed sets from speed champions. Not confirmed, just speculation, as one of the designers from speed champions moved to the city team to create new vehicles for the new City Line-up since summer of 2023.

List is coming very soon.

I saw a reddit post that said that a few of the new sets that are going to be released in January (not march) are going to be f1 cars. The numbers include: 60442, 60443, 60444, 60445, 60464, and 60474. Also, why are the leaked jungle sets for march have such odd numbers? I mean, we left off on 60441, and it just jumps to 60691 which is 250 numbers. My guess is that there was an error in the leak and it was supposed to be 30691, but you cant be sure. I came here looking for answers, so can someone explain?

Probably they made that gap because it is a test run and so far that they will come in march is nothing but a rumour. Honestly, to me it seems a bit short between the test and release, so we will have to see if it is true. Eitherway, they likely will keep the numbers regardless of when the sets really will be released.

@The Island Chronicles it would be nice if you shorten the post you are quoting if there are large pictures (and even more if the whole post is written twice) Else it is a hell to scroll though a topic when there are several huge quotes in it ;).
