For me CITY is everything else but "the CITY".

Police is for DC & Batman MOC's. AND Exploration is ADVENTURE theme for me. All other city sets I just pass. NOW in 2025 we have Formula 1 "subtheme" like space in 2024. That Formula 1 thing should not have anything to do with city. It should be part of the Speed Champions.

BUT

End of story. CITY is amazing theme. CORE of LEGO. Like Star Wars (sci-fi) and Harry Potter (fantasy) ...

I get that you are saying F1 should be part of Speed Champions, but then if it does, it becomes more expensive… thinking of my wallet here..

If TLG release a Formula 1 standalone theme, it would be very interesting but it would be just as expensive as SC, if not more, so it is good for the City theme as it is a cheaper option for the same kind of theme.

I’m still curious on which vehicles they’ll produce for Greater Vehicles

Consdiering that one of this year's GVs was a tour bus, I'm rooting for a bendy bus next year. Though they'll probably just call it a transit/urban city bus.

Me too! I am interested to see which vehicles for Great Vehicles. Like ambulance, pickup truck, jeep, dump truck, etc.

I’m surprised we’ve not had a bendy bus yet

We are due another Campavan set so I could see a big motorhome set next year similar size to the crime lab truck.

I think we’ll get a Bulldozer similar size to the excavator and a dump truck.

Yeah! Like Lego has done every type of bus imagaineable.

  • 2009 - Transit Bus
  • 2010 - Motor Coach
  • 2013 - Transit Bus 2
  • 2017 - Hybrid Electric Transit Bus
  • 2018 - Tour Bus
  • 2022 - School Bus
  • 2022 - Transit Bus 3
  • 2023 - Automated Shuttle Bus
  • 2024 - Tour Bus 2

But not a bendy bus though.

You know that school bus and public bus Aron 2022 are not their own sets, right? Just side builds. It might be best for bendy bus to be its own.  Tourist Bus set in 2024 is superb (except for stickers).

I didn't say they were they're own sets.

Yeah but still….  I would prefer to buy a bendy bus set instead of a side build from a big set like train station or school day.

Oh nah! I agree with you there. When I said bendy bus, I meant a standalone one for the GV lineup. Then I'd get a few of those for my town.

That's one thing I miss about the HEY generation of City sets. Almost all of the waves were made primarily up of standalone vehicles. GV only came because they started including turning their standalone emergency vehicles into vehicle packs beginning in 2011.

Why are people only talking about their opinions? Wasn't this forum made to share NEW leaks?

It is basically about everything about the 2025 City Wave, not just about leaks. Well and people will only talk more about leaks when we have some more information about what is to come.

When is that info gonna come?

Hard to say. It is quite some time till January but kinda seems leaks show up sooner and sooner. Could be this month, could aswell be that nothing shows up for the next three months. Though if I would have to guess, It seems more likely that we don´t make three months without more info.

I'm just talking about the set listing with the names of sets and piece counts. We know they don't release pics for the winter wave until December. Usually the set lists we get in August or September.

Yeah, wasn´t talking about pics either. ;) But no matter which info, the thing with leaks always is you don´t know when you get them. I mean for Star Wars those kind of information are out already, for City we only have some numbers and that they are suppsosed to be F1.

And we’re not talking bout pics here. It’s usual to see leaked info, such as set numbers, set names, piece counts prices at random times between now and December.

I don’t know how son leaks will turn up for City. Only the Man Upstairs know.

I predicting some type of Caravan/Campavan as we’ve not had one of them for a while. Cement Mixer too

I was thinking the same, although the current one still seems available (feels like this has been around for a long time though for a City set).

There are some nice campervans on Lego Ideas I saw (search 'Road Trip').

I think that the main impediment to getting a bendy bus is the bendy part - I am not sure how that could be achieved without just using a hinge and some bricks or plates for texture. 🫤
Train car connectors are similar to the bendy part of a bendy bus, and we have never gotten a piece for those despite trains having been an ongoing subtheme since LEGO started making themes!

All I want out of City 2025 is for the mandatory $10 vehicle set to be a Meyers Manx like build

I am surprised that we have not seen a $10-$15 dune buggy yet - The closest things to a Meyers Manx were in the Classic Town era!

Since Lego ist usually always releasing the same sort of sets, I'd say that we can be sure that there'll be:

- police station

- big police helicopter

- prison transport van

- bank and / or security transport van

- big fire boat

- big fire helicopter

- fire chief's car

- fire engine

What do you think?

Along with a set that includes some type of bus. They've been doing well with them lately. Though props to Lego, we got a standalone bus this year as an extention to the GV lineup along with an auto transport and a LEGO truck. According to sources, those have been flying off of the shelves lately. I literally had to have my friend, who works at the Lego store near my house, call me when yhey shipped them in because people were buying them. Kids love them great vehicles. That gives me hope for more standalone buses in the future.

Definitely more medical sets, since that has become almost as large a subtheme as police/fire (which I am very happy about, since hospitals used to be a rarity!). I can also see some of these ideas being combined (fire truck and fire chief’s car, police helicopter and prisoner transport, etc), but I do think that a new police station is 100% a lock. I am also expecting some smaller construction sets in bright light orange, to go with this year’s excavator and mobile crane.
It has been a while since we got a big boat for fire/police, and the last fire boat was small, so I think that a smaller police boat would be more likely (which would also tie back to this year’s prison island sets). I also actually hope that we get more medium-sized helicopters (see this year’s rescue helicopter), and one each for police and fire would round out the emergency services lineup nicely.

I want more aniamls! I want more medical stuff! I’m kinda tired of fire and police sets every winter wave.
