Martin98 Posted July 9, 2024 Posted July 9, 2024 "Enemies to the east, enemies to the west, enemies to the south, enemies to the north. Whatever stands in our way, we will defeat it." This location debuted in season 7 of Game of Thrones. It features an enormous and stunning map of Westeros, showcasing its diverse regions, cities, and rivers. Cersei uses this map to strategize her military maneuvers and assess the kingdom's political landscape, making it a striking visual centerpiece for planning in the heart of the Red Keep. Quote
KristofBD Posted July 10, 2024 Posted July 10, 2024 Very recognizable! I especially like the map, but the cersei minifig is also very accurate. Nice work! Quote

Feuer Zug Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 Great work on all of it. The map is artwork in tile form. That must have been a right pain to figure out with all the tile types. I like the small details around the keep as well. They give it a charming look that matches the source material. Quote
Ben S Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 I love how you have included a lot of small details. Definitively an outstanding build. I'm loving all your GoT series, looking forward to see the next one! (If there is a next, of course. In that case, any hints? ) Quote

Thank you so much!!! This piece is dedicated entirely to Cersei. There are two additional rooms in the tower that reference scenes with her. I'll be uploading more photos to Flickr soon! 6 hours ago, Ben S said: I love how you have included a lot of small details. Definitively an outstanding build. I have two more models from House of the Dragon ready for publication, I'm also working on a smaller piece from Game of Thrones, so I'm keeping up the pace! Quote
Yperio_Bricks Posted July 11, 2024 Posted July 11, 2024 Great moc! I like everything about it! The arches, the windows, the tower with the awning, the decorations at the top of the left wall and details like the ladder and table and of course the map. Now i want to watch the series again! Have you thought about building a base for the moc? From a compository stand point, the floor looks thin when compared with the other elements (that create the room where the scene is playing). Really looking forward to your future GoT mocs! Quote

LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted July 12, 2024 Posted July 12, 2024 Stunning architecture! What I like is the use of new parts that increase the details while keeping the dimensions small (on the double coupled arch I struggled to understand how I did it)! However, there are some parts that I don't know: the very fine columns of the arch with the stained glass window and the central column of the window with the arches in the tower ...may you help me? I'm not convinced by the stands at the moment, so I'll stick with the current flooring and a single black plate at the bottom for now :D On 7/12/2024 at 11:08 PM, LEGO Train 12 Volts said: However, there are some parts that I don't know: the very fine columns of the arch with the stained glass window and the central column of the window with the arches in the tower ...may you help me? LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted July 17, 2024 Posted July 17, 2024 Thanks you very much ...when you think you know every single component then this is what happens! Quote
BardDandelion Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 This is another great build from you! The only issue I have with this series of MOCs are colors - you use bright shades from LEGO palette of colors (here you have combination of medium azure, lime, tan, medium nougat and white) and I'm not sure if this fits style of GoT/HotD. I had similar issue with some Witcher vignettes by another builder. But the techniques are awesome, can't wait to see more and to see these at some convention in the future! ;) Quote
miken_mocs Posted August 26, 2024 Posted August 26, 2024 Smart choice of scene, it’s easily recognizable! Great work with the minifigs, the short haired Cersei is especially on point. Nice work on the architecture as well. I’d appreciate a slightly more muted color scheme for the map, I feel that the current colors, especially the azure and lime, give the scene a too bright and cheery feel. Quote
WaterySnap Posted September 8, 2024 Posted September 8, 2024 Love the warm color and the smooth, studless look! Quote
