mantax Posted October 3, 2024 Posted October 3, 2024 We have more new set information from the same source as I wrote before, but as always take it with a grain of salt. - 71826 $20 - The spinjitzu double pack is just Ninjago legacy magazine nr 6/2024. It includes launchers and spinners for both characters, an arena and some small dragon builds. -71832 Thunderfang chaos dragon $70 - the dragon is mostly purple with some black details, the dragon uses a double molded head piece. The dragon is chained to a small side build - 5 minifigures Quote
THELEGOBATMAN Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 Apparently the third March Ninjago set (71837) is another big, 3000–4000 piece Dragons Rising set (like the Tournament Temple City). All the recent rumours are coming from "lite" on the Ninjago Discord channel—which means we'll see if he's truly reliable or not in the coming months. Quote

It seems to make sense seeing how relatively cheap the march wave is. I cant believe I'm calling $70 and $80 sets cheap, but after march 2024 anything that's not 2 $120 sets feels cheap Quote

I used to limit myself to like 40€ Ninjago sets at a certain point, but the bigger ones are so much better and common recently. Like, you either get an amazing dragon with 9 minifigures for 80€, or a crappy buggy with 3 minifigures for 40€. Quote
CloneCommando99 Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 Anyone else surprised that Ninjago hasn’t done a space season yet? Quote

Not particularly, Tommy Andreason didnt want to do a space season and with the new direction dragons rising is taking, I cant imagine they will do one as they have so much to explore now in the new merged lands. Space and ninjas is gonna have to be pretty special to mix, I feel like it could go wrong a lot of ways. And plus, lego already has an ongoing space theme within city. Quote

The only way I feel like it can work is having one of those Galaxy Squad aliens as one of the residents of the merge Quote
Rolyat24 Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 I’m not anticipating ninja in space anytime soon, but I am a little surprised we haven’t had an alien invasion storyline yet, a la Alien Conquest. That way the setting and hero vehicles could all feel very similar but the villains could have a new aesthetic and some ufo-type builds. Quote
Harren Tonderen Posted October 10, 2024 Posted October 10, 2024 (edited) Another info i saw from ninjago discord so take it with big ol' spoon o'salt. Never know what's the spoof or what's changed since prelims. But apparently Nokt, Zarkt and member with Wu's hat are the only out of five who will be in January wave. Zarkt will have his big funny hat as new mold. Rox and member who shares her hat will be in March wave, i'd guess one for each dragon set. Don't wanna get any hopes high but to me it looks like nice design budget distribution in order for all Forbidden Five figs to have individual designs and with 2 new hat molds. Previously i thought entirity of five will be in January, and thus most of them would reuse same body design like it was with Crystalized generals, but sounds like it won't. Fingers crossed? Tho idk, because then you'll have to spend quite money if you would want to collect them all, and this does sounds like something that lego would do... It's not that odd—Dreamzzz, unlike Ninjago, already had a character (Mr. Oz) who is mainly space-themed, so it was an easy bit of synergy to work with. Quote
a guy from somewhere Posted October 11, 2024 Posted October 11, 2024 First 2025 set has been revealed, a polybag mini build of the ultra combo mech. Holy crap it’s awesome. Riyu, a jet and a car are the 3 builds. Guess one for Zane and one for Pix? Quote

In the art it is said to be a 4 in 1, So It's also going to have a mech for zane in the middle, and the jet would be for Sora, just like in the leaks. There is a lot of red featured on the build, I expected it to be just on the Pixal vehicle, but there's also some on the Jet, I don't mind that since it makes the color scheme more consistant. Since it's a polybag there isn't that more to say about it, but my favorite part is the fact that Riyu makes the head of the mech, and I can't wait to see the big version of this. Quote

a guy from somewhere Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 First set has leaked, looks like many more to come. Those figures are insane, what a stellar start to the year. Really loving what im seeing! Check RideX ninjago leaks on insta Quote
FinlayTheFaithful Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 They did not have to go hard on the villain minifigure for a gimmick set but they did anyway, definitely army building this new faction Quote
Lyichir Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 Very cool looking! The attachment points for the wings on the small dragon have me thinking they're probably designed to be used on minifigures Chima-style as well. Quote
mantax Posted October 15, 2024 Posted October 15, 2024 The new masks look weird, but also kinda cool. While the suits just look great. I would need to see them on the other ninja to have the full picture, but if they are all this good, I might want to have a complete line up. I hope that the other ninja would also use transparent swords The villains are not how I expected them to look, but that is a good thing. I feel like the blue would have been to much for them. I love how the back attachment combines with the armor to form a complete dragon head around the head of the villain. It's also better that they aren't full dragons, and the are just wearing dragonlike armor, since it was weird for the Forbidden 5 to ally themselves with dragon people, since they don't have a great relationship with eachother at all. The gimmicks once again come with a villain, so that's great. I just hope that they would be fun, since I might be interested in getting the Sora one. Quote
Classic_Spaceman Posted October 15, 2024 Author Posted October 15, 2024 The Dragonians look nothing like what I had imagined, but are also insanely awesome! It looks like the dragon armour has three main sections - The shoulder armour and jaw, the tail with wing attachments (seen flying independently in the pic of the set), and the helmet with horns attached! I suspect that the shoulder armour has a connection point on the back to allow the dragon tail section to attach, though it might alternatively attach via a neck bracket. I also think that the clips are attached via studs, rather than moulded on, so there should be a lot of potential uses for the tail piece! The wings are excellent as well, and will hopefully show up in future monster/demon ‘figs (maybe in black for a bat costume CMF?)! The base design for the Dragonians (without armour) looks a little bland and like Nexo Knights’ lava monsters, but this is a new design style for Ninjago, and it makes the dragon elements stand out even more. On to the Ninja, I think they look pretty good (from what little I can see); they seem more armoured than usual (printing-wise), so maybe they need extra protection to counter whatever the Dragonians have going on (dragon forms/power-ups, symbiotic dragon creatures)? The masks are big but obviously intended to be armoured helmets, so I like them; also, I think they are based on earlier concept designs, which is always cool to see! Quote
PaleozoicBricks Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 Not a fan of the Dragonians. would rather them be closer to dragonborns than anything else Quote

PaleozoicBricks Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 (edited) Forest dragon dragon and kai's rider mech leaked. The forest dragon looks so good! Hyped there getting more uses out of the baby riyu mold. Edited October 16, 2024 by PaleozoicBricks Quote
mantax Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 The Forest dragon feels quite solid at $20 and I might be interested in it. I also absolutely love the new Riyu recolor. What's weird about it is the fact that Lloyd doesn't use the new mask piece, and from what I can see he has the torso from his s1 suit. The mech rider is very unique, and I love that about it. We get our 3rd evo mech for kai, it does include more black on it then before, but I don't care about that that much since what I like about it is the jet part. It's also kinda weak that this set only has 3 minifigures, but the main build is solid and that's what I care about the most. We also got information on the zane mech. The mech is literally just the Jay mech. it should include a new zane, but it doesn't say that for Wyldfyre, so she might be reused from the previous waves. It also has one of the F5 - Drix with 2 sickles. This also might confirm that the previous descriptions were fake since that is a completely different Kai's storm rider mech. Quote
mantax Posted October 16, 2024 Posted October 16, 2024 The storm dragon leaked, so some of the descriptions might not have been fake. We get a new Arin, but Sora is just from the Riyu set. there's also Nokt in this set, or maybe not I can't tell that much. The side build definitely attaches to the village, and I do like the color scheme for that, which is also the dragon's color scheme. I can't really see that much of it because of all the text, but so far I like what I see. It's also great that the dragon is on 2 legs, this really makes it an evil version of Jiro, which I Love. If it's going to be $70 as rumored then I might want to get this, since it would pair well with Jiro. Quote
