I was worried that all the Forbidden five would just look like keepers after Rox looked similar to Nokt ( obviously she's orange with a mouth guard but still looks like the same species) so I like that they are turning out to have more variety, maybe Nokt and Rox are literal siblings as they do can each other brother and sister ( tjough sime groups do this to each with being related, like the cloud monks or real world monks and so on.)

The Arc dragon looks, uh, interesting... I think the dual colours might've looked better if it was a less of just a straight split down the middle, but like every preliminary picture ever I'm sure this will look better in the HD official pictures.

There is a new exclusive version of Sensei Wu, coming from the Design Seminar exclusive set. Only the torso and cape are exclusive, legs are from Legacy Jay.

Hopefully they'll add the torso/cape to BAM/PAB.

Is it possible to watch the second half of the season in the UK yet?

I mean season 2 episodes 11-20. I can only see 1-10 yet on Netflix.

It’s on ITVX which is free but I cannot recommend due to the sheer number of ads, like 9 per episode. 3at the start, middle and end. As much as I want to support the show I’ve resorted to a google drive which are pretty easy to find.

Climber Jay is coming in the next Ninjago magazine (the one after Climber Nya).

That actually completes the Climber suits in the magazine, each OG Ninja got one. Can't remember the last time that's happened. Hopefully, now they'll move onto the Tournament.

I watched it on ITVX, but TBH there is absolutely no reason to watch the last set of adverts after the show.

The cape just looks like BTAS Batman’s in dark blue, so that will definitely show up in a future set.

I believe it has already shown up in the new Large 66 batmobile.

True, really just added the last part because 6 adverts for 20 mins of TV is atrocious IMO. I just put the whole series on.

My main hope for tournament is -

Roby

Tox and Palmen (obviously)

Euphrasia would be nice too

A full wolf mask warrior with the claws

Evil Jay (I need multiples of him hes too cool!)

I don't see them doing Roby, since he's just a regular guy, and he would look weird in a magazine. There definitely won't be the wolf warrior with claws, since we got the general who is just that, but with an armor piece.

But I do see them doing Tox or Mr pale, since they would fit perfectly to the legacy magazine, which always gave us a minifigure from the previous big D2Cs

Also I kinda start to think that maybe they could give us the tournament suits in the legacy magazines. That is because we got the wolf general, and then the 2 last climber ninja, and Jay is said to come in November, so then maybe we could get the 3 new ninja and some villains, and after that we could get the 2025 minifigures. This year we did get the wolf warrior and then more s1 minifigures, but the tournament suits would fit great with legacy. But still that is just a speculation, and we only got half the mech ninja so far, so I guess we will see about that later.

I mean if I have one hope for the magazine for the rest of the year ( well the rest of the magazines based of season 2 part 2 because they won't suddenly end come jan) it would be one Minifigure I'm surprised neither of one mentioned: the Temple Guard!

After all there are quite a few of them in the show but only one in the set. And D2C figures in the magazine is not unprecedented give for example Miss Demeanor,  the City Gardens version of Ronin, or Even Star wars's Cloud City Luke.

The dragonian village just leaked, and it confirms that Morro will return.

The set on it's own feels very weak to be called a village, but that was expected with that type of piece count. I'm the most interested on what's that thing with large blades on the front. There's also a falling bridge function, just like in that small 2015 tournament set. So that feels like a nice detail since now it will be 10 years since that set came out.

The minifigures maybe explain the price a bit, since $40 sets usually don't have over 4 minifigures. The new Morro looks great(especially with that transparent arm) I'm the most interested to see his interactions with Euphrasia. We also have a new Jay or maybe it isn't, since he is using the same hat piece as that last unknown F5 member, so maybe that one also has a blue color scheme and thunder powers, but that might be too much of a coincidence.

So with that we still haven't seen the 2 last F5 members, and we have 2 sets with unknown minifigures. So it now makes the most sense for them to be in the Ras jet and Lloyd car.

I also found that there are some price changes to some of the sets. They are from Brickmerge and only in Euros, so maybe in other places it's different.

Lloyd's pull-back car is 25, Thunderfang Chaos dragon is 75, Arc dragon is 100, and the Kai jet is 50(that one really doesn't feel good now)

Yeah that's not a village, it's a shrine at best, still looks cool though.

I'm sure that that's not jay. It sounds like we have the elemental master of Thunder as one the forbidden 5's elements. And I'm okay with that afterall thunder is actually quite different from lightning IRL ( though this guy useing blue lighting bolts muddies that a bit).

Morro I'm glad to see.

I mean technically we've seen all of the now in some shape or form - Nokt and Rox in the show ( and the others but only in the shadows) then we had the green chained one and bug eyed red one leak earlier with this blue one being the last one.

Though your right the blurry pictures hardly count as a good look at them and show designs don't always line up perfectly to the IRL figures ( Nokt will probably be pretty spot on but Rox's little metal teeth mask will likely be printed not a separate part like in the show and if it is a separate part there'll be the neck attachment point ( a separate part would be fun as then it can be used elsewhere).

I really like this set. The word "Village" in the set name set up pretty different expectations, but I actually enjoy it for what it is—which is another mid-ranged location set focusing mostly on minifigures.

Which, obviously, are incredible. The amount and exclusivity is amazing, just as in this year's Tournament Battle Arena. Nya and Zane are always great to see (which suits are they wearing though?; the one Lloyd wears in both dragon sets are visibly different variants), two Dragonians make sense, but it's the remaining two that are the standouts.

Morro looks fantastic, and I'm excited to see how he fits into the new season. Hard to say who the last minifigure is—Jay or a Forbidden Five member. My money's on the former. It'd just be too big of a coincidence for one member to use the same colour scheme and weapons as Jay, not to mention the lightning element and the yellow head.

Anyway, exactly half of the 1HY sets have leaked as of now. I'm most excited to see Zane's mech now, especially to see if we're getting a new Wyldfyre variant.

Zane! I hadn't even noticed him because it's a white background picture and he kinda blends in the white background.

I don't see any yellow on the blue F5 member who people think could be Jay. ( But then again I missed Zane entirely. Maybe I need new glasses)

Also new Live action???!! Ninjago movie rumoured from universal? What why? Might never see the light of day but all the same WHAT????

I'm not that surprised by the live-action Ninjago movie. I'm glad they got the writers from the actual series.

What I am curious about is how they'll handle the merchandise. Since it's a LEGO movie, basically only LEGO themselves will handle the toys. But they obviously can't make LEGO sets for it, since it's live-action... unless they will? With regular skin tones etc.

Such a weird situation. Can't wait to see how it develops.

First we got Morro return, and now a Ninjago movie that is live action got announced.

I'm very excited for it especially because of it being live action. It might be a weird decision, but I love when there's something done that we haven't seen yet. And that also means that lego does care about Ninjago and that the theme is doing good so far for it to be one of the 4 new lego movies. I'm also interested as on what would it be about, and I do see some options for that:

1. A live action version of the story from the pilots, or the story from s1 - s2(but that might be too much content for just one movie).

2. Something completely new with the characters from the show, but done in a unique way, So basicaly just like The Lego Ninjago Movie.

3. It's a part of the main ninjago canon, and it would we some side story inbetween some seasons(The most likely would be before DR and after s15).

I expect that they would make sets from it, because it would be weird if they didn't. So it would be interesting to see the ninja having regular skin colors

Idk about you guys but I’m personally very excited for a couple of set waves with insane builds and great prices (thanks to the movies profit being worked into the set prices) so even if the film ends up bad, we still get a silver lining. Will be very interested to see the minifigs though.

There's also a rumoured Ninjago spin-off coming out in late 2025. It was reported by a reliable leaker yesterday.

It's supposed to introduce new characters, but they don't know what kind of a project it is (possibly a video game).

What is this madness?

The LEGO version of the Ninjago movie underperformed. What makes them think a live-action will do any better? Its even more disconnected from the brand

This sounds like someone made a joke and they took it seriously

I haven't seen this news reported on any of the major English-language Lego blogs, so I'm taking it with a grain of salt for now. Until there's more information, I regard these supposed live-action Lego films as no more real than any of the umpteen Star Wars films that have been announced and canceled since ~2016.

I assume the general thought process behind live action adaptations is the reason, people think animation is just for kids but if you make a kids movie in live action then it's something that nostalgic adults can go see and not feel embarrassed
