It's weird that only a single set has leaked from the retailer. Themes like Star Wars and Harry Potter got three sets each.

I need to see that 10€ mech with Wyldfyre.

The next ninjago magazine will include Master Lloyd.

I don't really see a reason for anyone to not get the Jay's mech battle back set, and with that I don't see anyone being interested in this magazine that is a bit more then half the price of that set.

The only positive are the weapons, since they use those green energy parts from Lloyd's elemental mech.

Yeah, kinda disappointed. They should really move on to the Tournament, or just give us the new Wyldfyre—I need those variants of Ras and Nya.

(I'm delusional, we probably won't see Nya in a magazine for a year or two now that they've included her.)

So when do we think we will actually see the new sets? I think Thursday is a solid bet, my theory is that Smyths France just put them out a week early, so hopefully on the 28th we will actually see them.

Not sure about a specific date but I'd be surprised if we don't see them sometime this week. We already got a couple of official reveals for other themes, and Ninjago isn't licensed so it doesn't usually take too long.

Yeah, I’m just on the edge of my seat because whilst we have seen most of the sets, i want to see them in HD with all their functions and features. Correct me if I’m wrong but it’s just Zane’s mech and Lloyd’s car we haven’t seen yet right? There’s a possible retail exclusive set at 71832 that I’ve seen talked about a little but we have no info on that one do we? 
 

I just want to see the combo mech in all its glory mainly, I have a bad feeling it’s got a lot of parts forming and not many actually transformations looking at that leaked picture. I’m also kinda scared to see the masks because I love Cole’s one, which we’ve seen up close but it looks like the other ninja masks don’t have as strong as a contrast when it comes to the mouth part. Shame how Cole always gets the coolest looking suits because orange and black is just an amazing combo. I would love to see some thing like spring yellow and red for Kai but he’s got all red it looks like, although in the gimmick set he does have majority gold with red contrasts.

Somewhere between late next week and early next-next week is the likeliest time. Litemods is saying "in a week", but I'm not sure if he knows a specific date honestly.

But yeah, I am beyond excited to see all those sets. This wave has been surprisingly good at giving us some leaks, but in mildly-bad quality and not all at once. It keeps one invested.

I most want to see (in HD, that is) the 10€ mech set, Rogue (Jay) minifigure, and all the Ninja suits.

As for the other set you're asking about, 71832 is the Thunderfang Dragon of Chaos, which we have seen (it's not a retailer exclusive set).

Really? I always like Cole's suits the least. The contrast doesn't work for me at all, and there's too big of a dissonance between the colours.

I prefer Zane’s suits—the contrast between white and azure is much cooler (pun intended) in my opinion.

Apart from that, I love Jay, Lloyd, and Kai's suits (in that order usually) since they are much more consistent and calm—although they need an additional colour (such as gold) to make it pop.

Nya's are not as consistent, but usually great when they lean more into the azure (I like her Tournament suits the best out of all the Ninja).

So as a rule of thumb for the regular Ninja suits (at least for Dragons Rising), I'd say: Zane > Jay > Lloyd > Nya > Kai > Cole

Colours are subjective, that’s like one of the biggest questions to ask anyone IMO, and I agree that white and azure is a better contrast (red and overwhelming black on top tho) but the problem is with Ninjago is that the suits never lean into it. Cole is the one who always gets good contrast because his base colour is black or orange. Look at the climber suit, he has a full black hood/armour with orange details on the torso and legs whereas Zane is stuck with a grey and white hood/armour. Or Kai with red and dark red, and then a ton or red on the torso. A big part of my issues with the suits are definitely mould based but it can often be negated by good colour blocking on the prints. 
 

But as I said, colours are extremely subjective. A week it is then! I’m not expecting any more leaks now till then, I think we’ve seen enough unless a set just drops on a random polish website like the usual.

Yeah, Zane's Climber suit is the only one I don't really like. It doesn't look good, and is inconsistent with all the others. The rest though? All three are easily my favourites from each line of the suits (except the Torunament, I like Nya's more).

But yeah, obviously it's all a matter of preference.

Regarding the official reveal of sets, I've seen it being said somewhere to be on the 2nd december. That does make sense, since the 2024 sets, and 2022 sets were revealed on that day too. The other set waves were revealed on november, so with that I don't expect them to be revealed later then that day.

My biggest hope for this reveal is for Wyldfyre to have a new minifigure, since she's been the exact same for 2 waves already(Sora at least had some small changes to her s1 outfit for this wave).

Has it been confirmed we’re getting new suits for Sora that’s not just a new mask? Will be kinda lame if Lego continues with the trend of sidelining the new ninja in favour of the old suit wise.

Nope. I was hoping that after Sora and Arin got new suits for the Tournament, they'd just start getting new suits each season like all the other Ninja. I guess not.

A new armour piece has leaked, presumably for the summer 2025 wave. Similar to climber armour, uses the original dragons rising top hood, but the bottom is very similar to the climber suit armour, with a dragon head on the right and bamboo shoulder coverings on the left. Cast in red mainly with the bamboo and dragon heads being gold. I really like it, I also like that they’re sticking with one consistent colour for the e mask combo but still, another mask/armour combo that can’t turn the head. Still love it though, I guess this year is the year of the jungle for Ninjago (again) looking at the box art and such.

Right? The wait is unbearable, my excitement for Ninjago is way beyond any other theme LEGO has.

I just really want to see Zane's mech with Wyldfyre, I love her so much and after two seasons still don't have her in my collection!

Same for the spinner battle pack, Rogue minifigure in full view, the Ninja suits, the builds in full detail... so much to see!

Ok im self proclaimed number 1 ninjago mech defender but like when can we just get exoforce rebooted at this point? I can understand why non-diehard fans are looking at the amount of mechs and feeling a little nauseous. 

December 1st tomorrow, so hopefully we see the reveals! I'll be honest though, im expecting them December 2nd in my opinion, that feels like something lego would do. I just hope we get the full image assortment at once and not 1 HD pic for every set, then waiting a month for the rest of them like has happened previously.

This January we already had a full wave dedicated mostly to mechs. Did it sell so well that LEGO decided they need another mech-based wave?

I love the 10€ mech battle packs (just bought Jay's mech today, planning to buy Zane's one too), the Titan mechs, and occasional medium-big mechs (like Kai's climber mech), but I don't need a wave made of a bunch of similiar-looking mechs.

Never too early to start the speculation I guess...

Whilst it's unlikely, a medium-large type mech for a one off side character would be very fun, like Erlangs mech from the latest monkie kid wave, or Ronnins mech. Id love to see that. I suppose a Rouge mech for the new character (cough cough Jay cough) could fit the bill nicely. 

I'd also really like to see a full scale water titan mech, and we are still in dire need of a full scale titan fire mech too. 

A mech for a dragon sort of in the same vein as Jiros armour could be an interesting spin, more built up though so it actually looks like a mech dragon or armoured dragon maybe? 

I would also still like to see the concept of a mech and dragon combination, where the dragon mounts as a backpack sort of build on the back of the mech to give it wings or a giant shield with its wings, or even just an extra set of arms. I think we are gonna get close to this with the Zane combo mech thats gonna be revealed soon but thats not exactly my idea, and i doubt lego will push the boat out further if they have gone half way there with the combo mech. 

Even just changing up the shape or vibes of standard mechs could be a good start, give us a centaur mech or more arms, or give it wheels. 

Given the possible jungle theming of the summer maybe a monkey type- wait never mind we have already had that this year. Hmmmmmmmmm. 

A mech that can transform into a temple or shrine? Sort of like the golden master mech from season 2, only this time the shrine IS the mech?

That would be pretty cool to see, but yeah, as you said, I think that's pretty much what we're getting with the combo mech based on the picture we saw, with Riyu's head coming over the top and his wings out the back like they're the mech's wings.
