Well done, tasteful choice by TLG's professional designers. Much better than the alternative (boring dbg gear). Well in my childhood there were more colors of gears like the grey 24th gear was colored red but never has ever since seen light of day:) 1 minute ago, Auroralampinen said: Well in my childhood there were more colors of gears like the grey 24th gear was colored red but never has ever since seen light of day:) Well i did look up more of 24th gears and there was also orange version:) Quote
Timewhatistime Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 For the 20t gear, lbg (or even tan) would have been a possible colour instead of dark azure. Quote

Oh_Hi_Mao Posted November 18, 2024 Posted November 18, 2024 (edited) I just start to believe that TLG are running some social experiment... How long people will buy and build the same stuff with different skin. Edited November 18, 2024 by Oh_Hi_Mao Quote

thekoRngear Posted November 23, 2024 Posted November 23, 2024 (edited) I am pumped up by the box art of 42202 Ducati and the more detailed 42207 F1 car. But then again, it's TLG's Technic theme. God, the year 2024 has more than one month left to its life yet all the H2 sets are not well-discussed or managed to draw pages after pages talks that we, the mid-benchers used to see for years. Not that these sets are that bad; but they are* quickly forgotten for all the right reasons. The elements discovered in the F1 car reflects people still hope for Technic theme's stock experience to get better. Let's see. Edited November 23, 2024 by thekoRngear Most of them Quote
Maaboo the Witch Posted November 24, 2024 Posted November 24, 2024 Wonder if the backhoe loader will use the reddish-orange bucket from the skid steer? Seems a bit extravagant to produce that part solely for a polybag. Quote

If it is a regular orange, then this bucket has already appeared in one set: https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=50335&colorID=4&in=A Quote

Michael217 Posted November 27, 2024 Posted November 27, 2024 I'm sorry, but this is really bad! Again, their Corvette does not look like a Corvette at all, they got a yellow Koenigsegg Quote

johnnytifosi Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 I particularly hate those 1:16 cars. Not only they are ugly and functionless, but also they occupy the prime price - piece count - functionality sweet spot that could otherwise produce great sets. Another bust year for me. The snow groomer will be my last new Technic set for a long time. Quote

Though true that if at the same scale, mechanically more interesting models were produced that would be even better, because that would enforce dense builds requiring more new structural parts / connectors that facilitate it, not just panels.
