Yperio_Bricks Posted July 15, 2024 Posted July 15, 2024 *Your entry has earned 19 XP + 3 bonus for a total of 22 XP (S:5, T:7, A:6) The Dagro Episode: Part V: Finale Grande The Republic agent tracked down the villain and action was about to commence in the streets of the district capital! Dark Lord: (With a tad too much pathos in his voice) "I am Darth Ragnagoth the Great! Ruler of this city, the whole planet and the nearby sectors. If you go now, you shall leave this planet unharmed." General Rox: "In the name of the Republic, surrender your weapons and capitulate. We will put in a good word for you in court. Only 10 or 20 standard years in the ore mines of Delrian..." Dark Lord: "If you little creatures continue to annoy me, I'll be forced to activate my lightsaber and cut you a little." General Rox: "Go ahead then, Dark Lord!" Darth Ragnagoth turned his back to the Republic forces... and... activated his lightsaber! General Rox: "Sir, it looks like you just put a wooden stick on your lightsaber hilt, no?" Unfazed by the shenanigans a beggar sat in a corner, asking for alms. After the imposter and his companions were taken into custody, peace returned and everything went back to normal. As it ever was on the peaceful agriworld of Dagro. Nevertheless, the Dagro people would talk about the Sith Lord who ruled their planet for a long long time in the years to come and eventually the spectacle became part of the local folklore. ~ The End ~ Quote
Sentinel_Brix Posted July 15, 2024 Posted July 15, 2024 I was looking forward to this You are the master of texture. Period. Each and every brick is placed with purpose. No wonder it took you longer this time Great finale to the episode on Dagro! I already expected the darkest of them Sith lords to be a fake one, but still the rumours of his ascent spread across the stars. Good that Rox and his team ended this charade. The building on the right is amazing and since I had a preview on it in our team's thread already, I was curious about the left one. Splendid appearence and the oval top is just slick. And the door... aren't that those shooters creating that neat color transition? Such a nice part usage! Last but not least, the arch is great with the leaning reddish columns. You did here some nice little reprise of your last builds, also with the republic spy kneeling atop of the white building. Quote

The pieces i used for the gantry come from a Superman motorbike. When i saw them i knew i had to use them for a gate or an industrial structure or something like that. Quote
MKJoshA Posted August 25, 2024 Posted August 25, 2024 Wow. Those buildings are amazing! It's all good, but I especially love the angled, orange pillars. And your story is great too. Quote
