Eternal Maul Posted July 17, 2024 Posted July 17, 2024 *Your entry has earned 11 XP + 2 bonus for a total of 13 XP (S:4, T:3.5, A:3.5) Mar'Cato was looking at the vast and shiny salty desert of Crait with its red reflections. A calm yet disturbing beauty. Looking for any activity with his binoculars, in vain, he felt oppressed, and strangely not alone. Patrolling on Crait by tuskenbricks, sur Flickr Patrolling on Crait by tuskenbricks, sur Flickr A shadow caught his left eye. Brusquely, he turned around, grabbing his sniper rifle, in the direction of his speeder to find a humanoid blue thief. Without waiting he pulled the trigger, hearing the grunt of the Duros pirate shot in the chest, and then the thud of his body falling to the ground. This planet is not cleaned at all, he thought, picking up his helmet and climbing down to his speeder. I hope I have not forgotten anything on the administrative side. As you might have guessed, the speeder design is not mine (lack of time), its just the recolored LEGO's. I plan to design one next time on my own. Quote
Professor Thaum Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 Nice little vignette. Access to the Dark forum granted Quote
Yperio_Bricks Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 You're off for a great start with your Crait moc @Eternal Maul You managed to capture the mineral surface and red soil of the planet well But man, Mar'Cato shoots without warning haha Quote
Sentinel_Brix Posted July 18, 2024 Posted July 18, 2024 This answers the question if Mar'Cato is an elite scout or not. Poor innocent pirate Cool action shot and nice start to the game. To me, Crait was one of the very few highlights of TLJ (the planet design, not the battle), with the salty plains and red soil below and you caught it quite nicely. Quote
Eternal Maul Posted July 18, 2024 Author Posted July 18, 2024 Happy to see that my character makes you laugh. I will try to use it as much as possible in my future builds! Quote
n1majneb Posted July 24, 2024 Posted July 24, 2024 Great little build here and welcome, Some great texture to the build, definitely Crait with this build, and a nice little story too! Administrative note: for the entry copy the link to this post rather then to your flickr but this is a small footnote! Quote
Eternal Maul Posted July 24, 2024 Author Posted July 24, 2024 Ok thanks, I keep that in mind for next post Quote
