Posted July 28, 2024Jul 28 Experimenting with the new engine from 42170 and my eyes fell on 42040. Obviously there should be an odd number of cylinders and a NACA cowling, but overall I’m very satisfied. Pistons wiggle appropriately. The rubber bits are half for looks, half to help keep everything in place. 8 cylinder radial seems possible, but maybe not this small.
July 28, 2024Jul 28 Fun modification! I think Sariel has been working on a larger-scale radial engine using these parts at the core, but this is my first time seeing a little one like this! It's also a pretty great set you're working from!

It's also a pretty great set you're working from! Yes, he is working on Focke Wulf FW190. I hardly wait to see how it end's up. It is indeed very nice modification of 42040 set.
