Objective: Recently persuaded by his old comerade Len'ya to retire from retirement and help to find the imperial plunder.
Character: Bolt is an aged but legendary rebel spy who spent most of the last two decades undercover.

Objective: to follow her sisters footsteps and become a decorated fighter pilot.
Character: Joyful and light-hearted, she never overthinks the dangers of combat.

Name: Baron Ezhugh Vonreg

Affiliation: New Republic and/or Empire
Objective: unclear
Character: Vonreg has been (pretending to be?) a fiery worshipper of the late Emperor.
Now that the Empire is shattered, he made himself indispensable for the New Republic.
Vonreg is an art lover and collector. He is ruthless and conspiratorial.

Name: Yulion-Paer Kuenaga
Species: Human
Affiliation: Empire
Objective: to flee from the ISB's grip on Coruscant
Character: The aged professor was member of Palpatines inner circle and served as curator of the late emperors treasures.
Following the imperial doctrine, he considers non-humans as second class except for their apex cultural accomplishments, that need to be secured for the empire.

» So… Black Sun, now that I’m leading this venture, I would like to know your story. «

» Wait, who made you the boss, old fossil? «

» Len’ya. When he recruited me, back there at the bar, I suppose. «

» No he didn’t! «

» Listen. I know Len’ya lied about you, to stop our little needling before. You may be talented. You may even be an assassin of the Black Sun. But you don’t know him very long. And he would definitely not trust you with his life. You shouldn’t either. The point is, Len’ya is a Bothan. They trust no one. But he wants his operation to be a success, so he came to me. And be aware: He’s ruthless and manipulating. He will do what he do - Have secrets, leave without saying and pop up out of nowhere. That’s why he needs a team leader who actually cares. «

» Huh … so you are the legendary spy, Arthemias Bolt. «

» Fossil will do. Anyway I’m getting too old for these missions. So how about you? Let’s start with this one: Why you always make that face? «

» … «

» Yeah, that one. «

» … «

» Much better. «

» Ok, my story... I grew up in a small village near the Temple of Nurbia on a remote, independent world in the Mandalore sector. One day, the Empire came and raided the temple. My mother was the guardian primus and as the sanctuary was under siege, she had to make a difficult decision... «

» Xher, these men are brutal and unforgiving. We guardians have sworn to defend Nurbias crypt and her ring with our lives. But you daughter, you have not taken the vow. You can live! There is the slit behind the sarcophagus. It will lead you to safety. «

» But mum… «

» Go! We will see each other in afterlife! «

» They waited for the intruders and they soon came. «

» My mother fought bravely, but was eventually struck down. «

» Then in came their leader. «

» Vonreg… «

» I still remember his face, when he killed my defenseless mother on the ground. I still remember how he took the ring of Nurbia (* check out its twin here). I still remember how he ordered to plunder the sanctuary, before they burned everything down. «

» I couldn’t run away. I turned, left my hideout and tried to strike him down. But a stormtrooper hindered me. «

» Brave, but foolish. You there trooper! You will deal with this little brat outside! «

» The stormtrooper took me outside of the temple but she couldn’t pull the trigger. She told me I should run and never come back. And that’s what I did. But I never forget and I never forgive! «

» Len’ya knows about your vendetta…That’s why he recruited you, heh? Dank Farrik! He wants to use your anger… and if I’m not wrong, that ring you mentioned… there is more to it, isn’t it? «

» Len’ya promised me that we will stop Vonreg and return the ring where it belongs. «

 

» Ugh, what a story! That’s the best I heard for a long time. I’ve spoken. «

» Bloody hell?! Who’s that? «

» Rietta. Our Quartermaster. She’s ok. «

» Any other crew members I need to know?! «

I placed the build in the Mandalore sector O7, even though it's a flashback and the narrator is sitting in M11. Hope that it's ok.

Love the whole temple's Vibe. A mix of Indiana Jones and Ancient Era but that still perfectly match with sw minifigs.

Thank you very much, I really appreciate your positive feedback and glad someone's reading this 

My initial idea actually was a temple praying hall with an altar or something, but during building it became a morbid crypt . Anyway this reflect the stakes and the sacrifice of the guardians much more, I guess. 

The whole RotLA- story is building up and the tone is more like the one of an agent thriller, but still I once wanted to try some real action shots with blaster bolts and stuff. So I sneaked them in with this flashback here. It was fun!

Evil Baron Vonreg really makes for a great arch-villain. And i wonder, if this would be a movie, who would be the actor depicting Arthemias Bolt?! Jeff Bridges maybe

Actually the role of Bolt was up for grabs to Brendan Gleeson, but your casting suggestion is serious competition
