MAB Posted August 11, 2024 Posted August 11, 2024 Not me. I found that there were plenty of orcs and Uruk-Hai in the original sets. It was generic elves and men of Gondor and Rohan that were missing. Quote
BardDandelion Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 This would be a goldmine or money printing machine for LEGO. Don't get why they do not make these type of sets. They spam HP sets and LotR is owned by same rights owner (Warner, or rather Discovery at the moment) so getting along shouldn't be the issue here. People are hungry for LotR minifigs and would buy loads of these battlepacks. Quote
Follows Closely Posted August 19, 2024 Posted August 19, 2024 I consided 9471 Uruk-Hai Army to be the best battle pack for the LotR theme. Quote

Here, the Uruk-Hai polybag was the best army builder even though it was not really a battle pack. It was very cheap as it came free with a newspaper purchase. Mind you, 9471 also turned out rather cheap, as one store clearance them at just £12 / approx $15. I've still got a few stashed away. Quote

Yep, the set is perfect I really wish Lego would make such sets for licensed themes like LotR or PotC. But it seems impossible nowadays. I wonder why? Lego tries to protect the minifig at all cost, but on the other hand fail to meet the demand. Quote
