[MOC] Fawn in Flora

A model I created for LEGO Ideas Billund exhibit challenge under the "Flora and Fauna" category. I have not done many animal creations before but the really ambitious part that I wanted to create this in a near life size 1:1 scale.  This presented a challenge as the contest parameters limit the model to no bigger than 32 studs by 64 studs.  Originally, the fawn's head was going to be sitting upright but I felt that might present some stability issues.  Eventually, I settled on a sleeping pose barely fitting it within the space requirements.

Beautiful build! I shall echo @Autumn , the build feels real, as if it would be breathing through the screen. An astounding job!

Very nice shapes in this size: I don't see real animals done in this scale in Lego a lot. Like the others have already pointed out, the build feels very real!

True.  I've created larger MOCs before but, as mentioned already, never tried to pull off a 1:1 scale of really anything much less an animal.  This model is as big as my dog.
