Old Engine Shed

I bought two of these but have yet to start one. I'm looking for suggestions of an engine to put inside when done. I'm from the Technics side of the tracks, so to speak, and have no knowledge of the various LEGO trains. Would prefer something in steam but am open to suggestions!

They are 910033-1 Old Train Engine Shed and I'm undecided on whether I'll mod or not.

If you're looking for a MOC, any of the tank engines from Block Junction would fit well. I have one of their Terriers built and it fits very well with plenty of room. Any of their tender engines would be too big.

Probably, depending on the engine. But what's the point of a tender engine without it's tender?

Sorry, I didn't know you had to have the tender in order to put an engine in a shed for repairs...
