Why was the Factions RPG discontinued?

Why was the faction's RPG discontinued, and all the main members banned from Eurobricks? I have just recently noticed this and was just curious.

We had to deal with some strange peoples who were GMing the game which way of thinking was far far away from Eurobrick open-mindedness.

They had some elitist ideas they were requiring for the builds in Faction.

Only true star wars parts, only true star wars figs and obligation being serious in the stories (no jokes, no humour)

I had myself several bad comments for my yellow skinned minifigs and for my lack of solemnity. It was not a trouble for me as I simply left the game.

But the troubles begun when many other players finally comes to me (and Josh) to argue against the judging of the builds which was not fair, for example I had to compare two builds, almost identical by technic difficulty, size, idea of story, etc etc and one was awarded 10 Xp less than the other because of 2 obviously not star wars minifigs. More, the GMs had stolen many google docs / Maps / documents with rules from the GM zone of EB forum and moved it to their OWN forum they created to separate the game from EB.

I locked all the Faction staff and froze the game, asking for immediate clearing by the GMs and the return of all stolen docs. They were very angry of the locking and not willing to budge.

The "forum area" where the troublemakers are locked and asked to get back into the groove is under scrutiny of whole Eurobrick staff. The situation only worsen and the EB's administrators decided to make a clean sweep.

Josh and I bannished the former star wars GMs and some grumbling players and we had to restart the game from nothing (that's why we lack of some players)
