This is Gail Storm's new safari plane, heavily inspired by the mail plane from set 60250 but with wheels and opening doors. No stickers, just prints (from set 6672)!

As always - comments and critics are very welcome.

I love it (the color scheme especially!), but I will say the prop should probably be bigger than the one used. Have you tried seeing what this part would look like when added on? I'm not trying to be critical, just trying to give feedback that might improve it.

Again, it's an awesome model, with your usual perfect blend of old and new parts / colors.

EDIT: I just noticed you misspelled safari in the title.. just so you know.

Thank you as always.

Not yet but I‘ll try it. And I‘ll try the two bladed prop from set 5948. I‘ll post pictures. (With Gail Storm in her desert outfit, not the jungle/dino Island one.)

Thanks! I fixed it.

N.B.: The next project is an Adventurers‘ safari truck. 😄

Decent build. It has the classic tail dragger, bush tyre look of an airplane used in the back country. Good use of classic pieces to make it work, with the safari printed pieces adding to the overall effect. As mentioned by @Murdoch17, the larger two bladed propeller will give it a better look.

Thank you both!

I tried the other propellers today:

First photo - the propeller I used first. It's the same which came in sets 5928 Bi-Wing Baron and 5925 Pontoon Plane.

Second photo - the three bladed propeller Murdoch17 suggested which came in set 5935 Island Hopper.

Third photo - the two bladed propeller which came in set 5948 Desert Expedition.

Acutally I prefer the smaller propeller with 5.5 diameter I used first. In my opinion the other two propellers with 9 diameter are too big. They are too mighty for this little plane. Set 60250 also uses a three bladed propeller with 5 diameter.

But once again thank you both for your comments!

You're right on the 9-wides looking odd @The Reader. If only there was a middle ground - I wish a 7 wide propellor existed...

Thank you!

@The Reader Thank you for trying the other propeller options. You are correct, the smaller one looks better at the scale.
