I think the pterodactyl costume is sand blue with dark blue accents. The Astronomer kid seems to have a prosthetic hand. Cat Lover is supposed to be transgender, hence the sweatshirt color, male hair piece and female appearance.
Only 2 new animals is disappointing. The Wolfpack Beastmaster is the only thing interesting in this series, which is a shame.

I don’t get the fuss about some colors on a sweater. Also male hairpiece and female appearance is not what a transgender is about of course. If you are trans you want to be a man/woman instead of a woman/man and not an inbetweener, right? Just born in the physical wrong body, so it’s more a genderfluid type of person if anything.

But then again i am against trying to own colors/color combinations. So this looks like a regular knitted kitty sweater to me.

Always good to wait until official images. Some items can be stand-ins or colours might change.

I think these preliminary pics are sometimes "accidently" leaked to build hype. Why are they always blurry? Anyways :)

In this preliminary and blurry and not showing everything pic we've all seen, it looks like the wolf's left eye has a white ring around it

Or non-binary?

What even is a "male" hairpiece? Everyone here knows women can have short hair too, right? (And men can have long hair, though it's much less common...and even less so for men with long hair to style it the same way a woman might. But short hair is pretty universal.)

*This*

Even at a push very few of Lego’s hairstyles fall into exclusively ‘male’ or ‘female’ presenting. Plus non-binary folks exist, have hair, and they can colour or style it any way they like!

Ahhh, back to normal, where there's only 2 or 3 worth getting.

Agreed. Ideas set Tree House has a mother minifigure with a short hair. At first, I thought she was male but I like that a woman with a short hair being included in that set.

I think Cupid might have Jay's hair from the Ninjago Movie

Yeah that’s a good shout, unless it’s a new piece and there’s an attached halo or something we can’t see!

I think your reading to much into the cat lover.  But we will see more when better pictures come out.  There are several new molds in this so that's probably why there is only 2 new animals.

There’s *at least* two new animals, probably three unless that pic is very distorted

The Cockatoo and Wolf are new we already have cat's it just a different version of a cat so I don't think that  counts as a completely new animal.

It’s a new mould - that’s a new animal to me.

Ok.  That's fair.  I'm just counting new animals we've never seen in lego form before.  The girl with the plushies could be used for some type of fantasy creatures.  Can't wait for the hi-res pics to see all the details on this series especially the wolf.

In that case, does the wolf really count as new? Wasn't there a wolf in one of the Harry Potter sets way back when?

A werewolf

There's a grey dog/wolf in 4756 as well, though

I know it's not a great wolf (for my money 4756 is one of the ugliest Lego sets ever, mind) but if we can count the wolf as new despite it then we can count the cat too

I don't think anyone has considered that a proper wolf.  That definitely looks like a dog not a wolf.  Even though it says it's a wolf.  To be honest I didn't even remember that thing as it looks just like the dog mold.  I'm not saying you can't count the cat as new do whatever you want.  I just don't consider it a new animal as we already have several iterations of cats.

Basically,  pig baby is counted as a new mold even we already have seen adult pig.  So i would say different verison of cat is a new mold but i get whaat you mean.

It also appears that the wolf pack guy is howling if you look closely at his face

So in that vein we already have many different birds so why should the Cockatoo count as a new animal since it's really just another bird?

Could be they sometime leak things however the reason they are blurry are usually because they are so small and have low resolution so when you zoom in they become like this:shrug_oh_well:

What is the hamster holding in his hand, a pea part/print?
Is the monster a reprint from Loonely tunes?

Compared to D&D it looks like it stole 20% of the budget here. Is this what kids want since it looks like a really boring series to me. The wolfpack is the stand out and the pirate looks OK (love the cockatoo) so probably only interested in those 2 and the the white cat (steampunk is a maybe)..

Thanks for the news! 🙂

Imo nany of the minifig's accessories (longboard, plush pets, cockatoo, wolf and Persian cat) are brilliant.

In contrast, I see the minifigs themselves only middling: There's no "WOW minifigure" for me like in nearly all previous series. :sceptic:

And as much as I like the Wolpack knights: To get nearly the same minifigure like in the Medieval Town Square and since some time available via PaB, too, is wasting capacities. They better should have given us a knight going with some of the bucklers in the new Lion Knights' Castle of which we haven't been getting the fitting torsos yet. :hmpf_bad:
