I finally saw a few photos of the new series and overall I’m really excited. I think the boogeyman is the fig that took me by surprise the most. It matches perfect with the Yeti and Square Foot.

I feel sorry for Pterodactyl CostumeFan and Cat Lover having zero votes since they’re tied for second for me (Longboarder having zero votes is unsurprising though)

You would think that the cat lover would have some votes because of the new animal mould!

I LOVE animal costumes and classic themes. I wish I could vote for more than one... Wolfpack, Hamster, Pterodactyl.

There are two other figs that have that as well and they are a lot more interesting to most people:wink:
I will have to buy a lot of those to get the cat, but as the dog groomer from series 25 it will be very hard to sell the figs without the animals even at a cheap price. In comparison I sold the mushroom figs from the same series and kept the butterfly without problem. If you remove the animal from the city figs they have not much to offer..

If I buy CMF from Bricklink, I only buy the complete minifig with accessoires. I never understand why some sellers sell it seperately. How many times I have seen the CMF Palladin without its shield... That's a big no no for me.

I wonder if barcodes are still available for us to scan.

I doubt they’ll be removing them anytime soon. Blind boxes are always going to suffer stock loss from greedy customers ripping them open to see what’s inside, but having an identification method that’s easily google-able and accessible with free fan apps is probably cutting those numbers down to around what the old blind bags were. Marvel series 2 and the first wave of shipments for Series 25 didn’t have useable data matrix codes, so Lego has a decent set of data for comparison. Given that the two series since have both featured codes from the start, I’m guessing that data says the codes are best for Lego in the long run.

I am guessing they sell a lot more as well, how many of us would buy large number of CMF blind in the store for retail price? Definitely not me for those prices

Yeah, scannable datamatrixes are veery useful.  I used scanner on Space Series 26 and it was successful. I am just hoping Lego wont change data matrix for future series 9including Series 27).  I feel data matrix helps minifigure hunters buy as much as they wish.

I didnt vote for Ptero but ptero is a must have for me.

T-rex/Ptero/Triceratops costumes is such a blessing from lego. Perfect for jp/jw fans. It can be used as dino park mascots too

I think they will stay.

Kinder Surprise also has codes now. (not scannable but there are codes at the bottom of each egg). Maybe it's european thing against gambling or something like that.

One of the Lifestyle photos also shows the inside of the monster's book.

Which seems to show the Boogeyman itself with some text written

I dont think you cant actually read anthing on the tile. Its seems to be just scribbles

The official name of the Bogeyman is.... Bogeyman

I bet someone on TLG is pretty upset they had to call him BogeyMAN instead of Bogeyperson or Bogeyfan lol
