1. Wolfpack Beastmaster: Good sword, good shield, and a light grey wolf! Looks like he has a cape as well. Not a complete can of the mutton chops face/hood, but it's still be great for army building.

5. Bogeyman: That is NOT a suitable Oogey replacement - it's dark purple, with a big, open screaming face. Kinda reminds me of the Yeti mold. He also has a red book with a moon and a dead tree that looks really good. Not a fan of the minifig itself, though.

6. Jetpack Racer: Nifty helmet, should work in a lot of space scenes. Mostly white, with red and black accents. Not fully on board, though.

7. Cat Lover: Only one cat - but it looks like the minifig also comes with a pink yarn ball? The sweater's colors are a little garish to me - possibly the colors of the Transgender flag?

8. Longboarder: It's of the skateboarder variety - minifigure seems to be wearing green headphones, maybe? Pretty typical city figure for the most part, though.

9. Astronomer Kid: Nice torso, and the build for the telescope is neat (is the tripod piece new?) Otherwise, pretty simple.

10. Cupid: It's of the baby cupid vein, complete with a red heart, bow, and new wings that look smaller than the D&D ones. I don't think it will be usable in most historic scenes, sadly.

11. Hamster Costume Fan: The costume looks like what you'd expect... But only a green tile pellet for the accessory? Weak!

12. Plush Toy: That's a plush toy fan - looks like she's holding Beanie Boos - a green frog and a blue... Seal? It's a young girl wearing all pink, including her hair - so, that's a pass for me.

Well.. There's some that I really like (Beastmaster, Pirate Quartermaster), and a few I'd get one of (Steampunk Inventor, Pterodactyl), or like for the accessories (Longboard, spooky stories book, yarn ball, plush). Overall, though - it feels like a weaker minifigure series to me - just enough good stuff for me to like it, but I don't really love it either.

Anyays, the list does sound great to me. I just love  the way they include accessories and new parts.

Very cool to get a leak this early, although I suppose the D&D series was equally far ahead of its release date. 
 

I’m personally holding out full judgment until proper images come out, since what we’ve got right now is out of focus, partially obscured by a watermark, and a group shot (which are notorious for not being able to fit all details in). I will say that my impression is still overall favorable, and the main criticism I see cropping up here seems to be, once again, that the four characters based on contemporary hobbies are wearing ‘normal’ clothes, which has never really bothered me. 
 

I am excited about the three new animals we can see. And the pterodactyl costume fan looks right on par with the other two dino costumes, so the trio should look good together. 
 

The arm on the Astronomy kid is also interesting. It’s hard to say definitively because of the image quality, but I think they do indeed have a prosthetic arm – simply because I can’t see any reason why the character would be wearing gloves, let alone elbow length ones the same color as the Friends prosthetic part. And it certainly tracks with my belief that Lego would be adding a new partial arm mold to the minifigure line as well based on developments in the Jurassic World animated spinoff (it’s even the right arm!which is to say the left)

The space series was leaked with pictures from some special event where it was physically on display though wasn’t it? And then the D&D set leaked with what appeared to be the actual image file of the series checklist. Compared to those two, boxart like we’re seeing for series 27 is ‘normal’ as far as leaks go, but still rather early.

the wolf and beast master  look great the jet pack racer, bogeyman, pirate, steampunk inventor and pterodactyl costume look great too! 
And since lime green is my favorite color I’m not complaining about it but I would have liked to see a less used color the rest of the series looks fine I suppose.

the longboarder uses the hair/hat piece from hidden side and it looks like the astronomer has something around her neck…

They generally look good. The longboarder doesn't really appeal, and the jetpack racer is a bit disappointing, but probably because I was thinking of something like The Rocketeer, and not a modern drone racing style suit. Will be interesting to see it in more detail.

The others all seem good and I'd like to get at least one of them. The cockatoo is excellent!

Some of these look really interesting. Will have to pick up cat lady, wolfpack, pirate and pink-hair girl. Might leave the rest to chance, they're not terrible but also don't particularly excite me

I mean, she was listed as a cat lady. 🤷🏽‍♂️ 

My take on which figures are female-presenting from that pic are: 

cat lady, pterodactyl costume, pirate, plush animal fan, astronomy kid & longboarder; 

The jury is out on the Bogeyperson, jetpack racer and hamster costume

steampunk inventor, Cupid, Beastmaster look like the only ones I’d say were male from the pic.

But of course we can always make them whatever we want and swap heads and hair anyways

I think the Hamster costume is female also but hard to tell due to the blurry picture.  So that would make 7 female & 5 male figures.

I love the squishmallows. Will try to find them for my own lego appartment (my daughter loves them)

The cat lover’s yarn ball is something that i love about cmf series. Such an odd new piece that could have real moc potential if it comes in all kind of colors. The cat looks like it is a persian? A white persian is like the alltime favorite evil masterplan animal! Must have! 
 

Boogeyman is a bit weird with the somehow a bit different yeti piece. Also cool that it looks a bit the same, as if they are somehow related and distant family members. But it also looks like he wears trousers, so that means that it is a mask. Maybe it’s the big brother of the girl with the squishmallows and he wants to scare her! That book is looking superb by the way. Want!

The pirate quartermaster looks like a nice addition for my D&D set. The cuckatoo is also very nice. Trying to get her. 
 

Wolfpackman and wolf will be added as well if i am going to be lucky

All in all a very good series if you ask me

That's a stretch as I only see 3 colors and that flag has way more than that.  Looks more like a crazy cat lady to me and they used cat lover instead of crazy cat lady.

Hard to tell if the cat is long haired like a Persian but when we see better pictures we will be able to tell.

The flag I was thinking of only has three colors: light blue, pink, and white. It does have five stripes instead of three, but the colors are a pretty close match. I'm not saying it was 100% the designer's intention, but I think it could easily be used to represent that. 

Though, based on the hair, Cat Lover looks more boy-ish to me anyways, so who really knows? It's also not like most CMF character bios, or even default design, matter - it's Lego, and you can make whatever characters in whatever ways you want.

It'll be interesting to see if there is a minifigure head under there - it's higher on the shoulders than the Yeti/Chewbacca are, so there might be "room" for one...

It just looks like the typical crazy cat lady to me that's portrayed in movies and tv shows.  Which was usually shown with an ugly sweater like the one shown.

The sweater’s colors might not man anything until we see high rest citrus of Cat Lover for ourselves. Personally, I saw cat ladies wearing bright-colored sweater like blue, pink and white in my life.

Yeah - and that very well could be the case. And it's not like Lego hasn't done light blue, pink, and white clothes before. Sometimes, a color is just a color. And I do agree with you - I do think the colors are kinda garrish.

Yeah the fig is not my cup of tea but the cat and yarn ball could be useful.  Can't wait to see better pictures of the series.

Agreed. I just think it will be a persian because of the thicker (fluffier) tail, and if you look at his chin it looks like it’s getting wider instead of getting smaller (what would be the case with short haired cats). But it’s indeed hard to tell, so we just wait (and i’ll keep my fingers crossed)

The cockatoo being also an australian bird, makes it a good match with the koala. They live in large groups i believe so comes in handy in multiples when you want to make an australian scenery. We just have to wait for a lego kangaroo i guess. Also, it is really a good pet, so it would be nice to see a new pet store along the way
 

What does csj mean? That’s what is written on the longboarders shirt, right? 
 

The hamster will also be of use for dutch and belgian city lovers, as it can be used as mascotte for the Albert Heijn supermarkets, Hamsteren!!!

Does the pterodactyl have hands on the wings? Or are they sort of thorns? I hope hands. 

too bad we cannot see the hair of cupid. It looks a bit like an existing piece, but i was curious if he would have something in his hair. The wings look new and short. Not something i have need for, but people with multiple birdpeople from the d&d series can make a birdkid with it? 

Most figures have some good parts, and are also nice to figswap as well. For me the least favorite are the longboarder and cupid.
