Objective: In pursuit of art plundered by the Empire during its rule. He believes baron Vonreg is the key figure to get access to the emperor's treasures.
Character: Len'ya is known to be a heartless tactician, putting the Rebellion/Republic first

Name: Xher
Species: Falleen
Affiliation: New Republic
Objective: Hired by Len'ya as a bodyguard, she follows his lead
Character: Xher is distrustful and cynical and an experienced fighter for her young age

Name: Arthemias Bolt
Species: Human
Affiliation: New Republic
Objective: Recently persuaded by his old comerade Len'ya to retire from retirement and help to find the imperial plunder.
Character: Bolt is an aged but legendary rebel spy who spent most of the last two decades undercover.

Name: Rietta
Species: Ugnaught
Affiliation: New Republic
Objective: Rietta is the Quartermaster on board of the Cloudrunner. She is responsible for supplies and equipment.
Character: Rietta is very pragmatic and not very chatty. She loves to collect spare parts and improve equipment. She has an affinity for explosives and heavy weaponry too.

Name: Bizzy Walsh
Species: Human
Affiliation: New Republic
Objective: to follow her sisters footsteps and become a decorated fighter pilot.
Character: Joyful and light-hearted, she never overthinks the dangers of combat.

Antagonists:

Name: Baron Ezhugh Vonreg
Species: Human
Affiliation: New Republic and/or Empire
Objective: unclear
Character: Vonreg has been (pretending to be?) a fiery worshipper of the late Emperor.
Now that the Empire is shattered, he made himself indispensable for the New Republic.
Vonreg is an art lover and collector. He is ruthless and conspiratorial.

Name: Yulion-Paer Kuenaga
Species: Human
Affiliation: Empire
Objective: to flee from the ISB's grip on Coruscant
Character: The aged professor was member of Palpatines inner circle and served as curator of the late emperors treasures.
Following the imperial doctrine, he considers non-humans as second class except for their apex cultural accomplishments, that need to be secured for the empire.

Chapter 13 - ART Attack!

After Bolt and wounded Xher have been almost arrested, Rox and the Republic cavalry came right in time to save the day at Old Kaadu Corral Road. The Imperial ambush failed and Rox and his team rescued the Republic agents…

» Rox, old lad! That was good timing! We owe you! Look here, my green friend is wounded. She needs medical help immediately! «

» Good to see you alive, Bolt. We have some Bacta with us, no worries. She will be fine. «

» What are you doin’ here so far away from the Republic? Not that I complain… «

» We currently use to operate behind enemies' lines.

After we handled some troubles on Dagro we moved here to gather intel. In the meantime we contacted the local rebel cell, trying to spark a rebellion. Seems like you set a new tone! «

» Gngh, what’s that rattling sound?! «

» ART incoming. Get cover!!! «

»  ‘The hell is that? «

» XR-45 ART - Anti-Riot-Tank. From the old republic days. They were actually decommissioned. The Imps called them the ‘Assimilator’ and used them against smaller riots. Here it seems they changed the non-lethal shock-canon with a heavy blaster canon though! «

» Rebel intruders! Your little uprising is over! Surrender immediately or you will be decimated! «

» Guess what? No! «

» Troopers! Charge! «

 

The Republic agents are in trouble, with the ART putting them under heavy blaster fire! But suddenly the tides turn...

» Assimilate this! «

» Rietta?!? Where did she come from?! What a blast! The tank’s done! «

» And the people of Shag City also have something to say! «

 

Indeed, by helping the old man and his niece back at market square, Bolt and Xher sparked an uprising! The riot sets the whole city ablaze and soon there are fights against the occupants everywhere. Finally, Len’ya arrives with the swamper ferryman…

» Bolt, Xher, Rietta, do not hang behind and jump on board! We should waste no more time! «

» Hey Mr. Bothan! What about the intel you said you have for me? «

» Ah General! There are some inconsistent reports coming from the Mandalorian Sector. Remain stand-by please. I will contact you about the details via Hypercomm soon... «

Here you find some additional images of the XR-45 ART Anti-Riot-Tank, also known as 'Assimilator'. Pun with the title of my story intended!

The vehicle is the build to be scored in this entry as the street has been featured already in chapter 12.

The ART is based on the XR-85 from legends continuity. I knew it only from the old 'Rogue Squadron 3D' video game, where they were pretty small - smaller than an AT-PT. In other media they are actually described as extremely large moving turrets, as @Yperio_Bricks pointed out to me! So I changed a little bit the focus during building and customized it to fit into the street fight scene and it became my creation, the XR-45. I introduced a driver for the tank, as it looked better, where the XR-85 is a droid tank. Hope you like it!

Great continuation of the stroy and i am happy Rox and the cavalry arrived in the right moment and everything comes together.

I love the tank! I imagine it could be in a battle pack with a driver, two riot control stormtroopers and an officer.

It's great to see the people of Shag City joining the fight against the oppressors! The Ugnaught with the rocket launcher And I like how the Sullustan head fits together with fleet trooper torso. Looks quite good.

The Sullustan is such a splendid head piece! I love it 

It's a pitty it comes with a rather expensive set and it will be limited... unless they do RotJ Millennium Falcon with Lando, Nien Nunb and Airen Cracken. But I don't expect that they do it and reuse the head as it is a collector exclusive.

We need more aliens! A alien battlepack with for example a Quarren, Mon Calamari, Sullustan and Nikto should be a no brainer for a toy like Lego. I mean, one can dream, right?!?

Great next part of the story! I feel like your tank is a little chubby, but overall it looks good. Nice angles and curves on it that make it fit well within the Imperial arsenal.
