Mrxxlutz Posted September 16, 2024 Posted September 16, 2024 Hi everyone, I recently came across a Yoda minifigure that seems a bit unusual, and I'm wondering if it could be a misprint or a rare production error. The figure's eyes are closed and the head is a bit loose, which is something I've never seen before on a Yoda minifigure. I know that in set 75255 (the buildable Yoda), his eyes can be displayed closed, but I’m talking about a standard minifigure version. Has anyone else seen or heard of a Yoda minifigure with closed eyes? Could this be a misprint, or is there a specific set where this version of Yoda was included? Any insights or feedback would be much appreciated! Thanks! Quote
Per_SW Posted September 16, 2024 Posted September 16, 2024 (edited) Judging by the shape an colour of the head it looks like an unprinted TCW Yoda head, definitely a production error Edited September 16, 2024 by Per_SW Quote
Agent Kallus Posted September 17, 2024 Posted September 17, 2024 It's the rubber head Yoda. And the rubbery parts like that are notorious for paint flaking off. I imagine he might've been printed at one point? Or maybe the paint was never applied, this version of Yoda also has painted hair at the back, is that print also missing? Quote

Max_Lego Posted September 18, 2024 Posted September 18, 2024 By the way, I believe a sand-green variant of Yoda's current head mold would've been more accurate to the OT version of the character, than the current olive green Quote
