TomSkippy Posted September 16, 2024 Posted September 16, 2024 I'm putting together a small pirate ship @500 parts for the Bricklink Designer Program. And I need your opinions: What does your ultimate small pirate ship have to have? What is one minifigure that you'd love to have included? Quote
GeoBrick Posted September 16, 2024 Posted September 16, 2024 A commendable project. Regarding your questions: A working rudder (through a ship's wheel or helm). And and imprisoned admiral/governor minifig, with the bicorn hat (its mostly for the hat). Quote

Somehow I missed seeing your response! A couple responses: 1) Cloth Sails: I built the sloop to easily accommodate the fore/aft sails of the Barracuda Bay ship. This allows for easy sourcing (whether bricklink, third party, or printer/scissors) 2) I wrestled with getting Don Diego on there (or maybe Cannonball Cordoba ). The lack of proper headgear/armor made it impossible. He deserves more. Quote
