[MOC] Deep Space Mission

Built for my LUG's monthly seed part challenge using part Windscreen 9 x 3 x 1 2/3 Bubble Canopy The Mars Mission astronauts have defeated the Martians and are heading out on a new mission to deep space.

Love the retro feel, and i agree with @Tom_Brick on the late '60s vibe! I'm half expecting the second or third Doctor to pop out of that door any second now, with something creepy and evil following close behind him.

Great build. It feels like 2001 A Space Odyssey. The vertical alignment of the bubble canopy parts works quite well.

To me it has a 70s vibe rather than 60s (partly due to the orange+white scheme), with the hypersleep pods reminiscent of those from Alien's Nostromo, only up-ended... Either way though, it's absolutely fantastic -- and I love the way you put that minor bit of detail into the sliding door edges!
